I supported Huckleberry.

I'm not sure I can vote for McCain. I will probably break down and give him my vote in the long run.

How about if we preview the answers we will hear:

"McCain knows that the Terrorists hate our freedoms ..."

"McCain is a STRAIGHT SHOOTER ..."

"Cindy McCain loves this country ..."

"McCain is a War Hero ..."

"McCain loves killing Muslims ..."

"McCain associates with good Men like John Hagee ..."

"McCain hooking up with Phil Gramm is kick ass ..."

PRETTY CLOSE ??

Doc, are you either of the four men I specifically addressed? Did I ask a question you don't like or something?

doc let me lay it out for ya.nobody with a half a brain is going to vote for Obama.
They are not going to vote for a guy that is going to tax you out of house and home.
And they are not going to vote for a guy that is not willing to drill oil on they're own soil.
Iraq is not an issue any more.the democrats admitted to that by voting in more spending FOR the war.
Energy and the economy is what will be the deciding issue and your man is already a loser.
Mark it down.
You'll be whining about stolen votes in about 4 mos.
mark that down also.

This is the typical response from most Republicans I know. Like me, they'll vote for McCain because they simply cannot vote for a Liberal's Liberal. Nobody is in love with McCain.

I do trust he do the right things with respect to the wars, he'll continue down this path of victory and then pull out. He'll also be proactive in the fight against terrorism. He'll probably appoint constructionist judges, unless he let's his left wing buddies swindle him. After that, I don't know.

you will save more on taxes with obama then mccain unless you make 250k or more. mccains plan gives those people the most, and then trickles down.

obamas plan gives the middle and lower most. your taxes will be lower with obama.

No man love for McCain here...but he did get my support.

And I will vote for him in November.

I've considered a protest vote, but someone wisely told me to reconsider.

Lets not forget that no matter what we think of McCain, Supreme Court appointees might very well be the longest legacy of our next President.

I'm not about to give those keys to Obama with my vote...or waste it on a protest just because I don't like everything about McCain. :103631605

what percentage of households do you think make over 112k. and why are these people supporting obama. a large portion of obamas support is from wealthy people with college degrees.

You left me out Willie. It's OK. I'm not very active here. But I am as conservative as anyone on this board.

I supported Romney in the primary. He is honest. He was the least likely candidate to be influenced by special interest groups. Don't forget he basically funded his own campaign. And he was the most qualified to be able to comprehend the myriad of economic issues that are currently facing this country. I thought it was time for a nuts and bolts candidate.

It seems that Congress and our Presidents have been focused on social issues since LBJ's Great Society, assuming that the economy would take care of itself through the free market system.

Well without a healthy economy how will we pay for all the programs that have spun from that social focus?

Romney was the best candidate to address what I consider the important economic issues that will define all of our existences during this transition to a global marketplace.

But he ain't the guy.

Sooo....

I will likely, begrudgingly, vote for McCain with the hope of seeing more conservatives seated on the Supreme Court (as MJ said). Liberal social policies demand an unending stream of money which we can no longer afford. I won't even begin to address their failure. Conservative social policies demand sweat equity, something many Americans have developed an aversion to. If we are going to compete globally we will need to work harder and smarter. Government interference will need to be pared back.

I am sure that John McCain does not view the world the way I do. But I am more sure that Obama sees it my way even less.

No, none of us conservatives are in love with John McCain.
