Saw some pics yesterday and the field was underwater, anyone know if the field is ok now? Think T puts up 70 today if the field is ok. Help pls

AA....I hope all is well in Austin...Did you lose your electricity?

We didn't even get a drop of rain. It's muggy and there's light cloud coverage, but nothing came to the Austin area, everything went to the east.

It looks like some of the remnants are going to be blowing through Oklahoma pretty soon. You may have some weather on your way.

So in other words they cancelled the Texas-Arkansas game for nothing....As for the remnants of Ike, evertything is pretty much east of I-35 and will probably just miss me.

Nah, I think they did the right thing postponing the Texas/Arkansas game. The highways around Houston and Galveston up to the San Antonio and Austin areas were completely jammed yesterday with evacuees. The last thing needed was get more traffic on the road. Things very easily could have turned dangerous in a hurry.

It's just a football game, not worth any potential safety issues.
