anyone here seen opendns.com before and what are your thoughts in general on this

I used as a backup on my machines, it sure beats having everything down due to a stupid DNS server failure. I just signed up for an account to take a look at their added value features.

The only problem I find with using opendns for name resolution is that if you are using a application that needs to know that domains do or do not exist like some mail servers and stats programs their wildcard will possibly skew data or cause them to not work correctly. Any domain will resolve regardless if its a valid domain or not on their system. You just get redirected to their little search page. Beware of that when using them. I tend to not use them on mail or dns servers for this reason.
