Welcome VegasVic. I could be off a game or two because I was weary eyed inputting it all but will be double checking later on when i have more time now that the majority has all been applied. I've been working at putting the goal per period percentages together and was hoping to have both up here way before games started tonight but a little late. Best to you and thanx

I’m amazed at how low scoring these first periods have been so far this year. A couple years ago the Penguins would seemingly score 2 goals all by themselves in the opening period. Washington as well always opened strong in the first.

You’re missing Pittsburgh on the charts.

Penguin scoring has been on the decline for awhile.

Covers dot com has a routine breakdown of scoring (and other key stats) by period and OT when you navigate to the daily Matchup listings found appended to each day's scheduled games

It does not tally the W/L/P record but provides an indicator of both For & Against by periods

The second periods likely lean a tad higher scoring due to the ol' Long Ice for shift changes

TBAY in past few seasons (going back to the Final Four year when they were eliminated by Bear) had a pretty solid third period breakdown - something I presume is prevalent among more successful overall teams

Interesting to see how in these first three weeks they are yet to win a 1st period

Thanx VegasVic.... I realized Pitt and others late late last night. Was in to much of a rush :ohno: Pittsburgh is unreal compared to before. I've went thru every game with fine tooth comb early this morning and will be posting up accurate updates daily for teams playing that night. Best to you :toast:
