It is funny listening to all these terds in the media say TCU should be in front of Baylor. Talk to anyone who ever played or coached the game at a higher level ( not Xbox or little league ) and the game is played on the field. The team that wins is the better team, end of story. Unless your a 21 point underdog and win there should be no discussion.. No way in hell should TCU be in front of Baylor, shame on the committee if that happens.

It took a ridiculous PI call, on their home field, to set up the winning FG.

The NCAA basketball seeds teams according to merit, not conference championships. Why should football be different?

I won't be upset regardless of who gets #4, there are legit differences of opinion at work here. Calling people terds because they have a difference of opinion than you doesn't put you in the best light either.

My vote doesn't count. If the games don't count then why play them? Just have a playoff, put everyone in and make everyone happy. The games are played for a reason, its head shaking at the least..if I were a Baylor fan I would b pissed

Schedules count. TCU's loss was a 3 pt. loss on the road at Baylor (21 pt. lead in 4th). Baylor's loss was at West Va. by 2 TD's. Who had the better loss?

Both with one loss head-to-head should be the next criteria for choosing a team. I don't care if TCU was up on them big time, TCU LOST TO BAYLOR. Head-to-head should be the deciding factor. One sure as hell can't base it on this weeks style points, TCU vs Iowa State is a joke especially when BAYLOR is playing Kansas State...

Im worried these latter games will dictate the committee's decision making.

Either way there will be plenty of moaning and groaning going on when the four teams are chosen.

*****It's gotta be Alabama, Oregon and Florida State for sure but that fourth spot is truly up in the air with several teams with a possible claim to it.

and

if schedules count it will get majorly confusing because the committee will have to take in strength of schedule as a determining factor and oh boy will the shit hit the fan then.

By any objectionable standards TCU getting in is a complete joke over Baylor. So if the Pats and Broncos finish with the exact same record in the AFC the Broncos fans are going to argue they deserve the number one seed in the AFC over the Pats because the Pats were beat by the Chiefs 41-14 and Denver beat Kansas City twice. Never mind the fact that the Broncos LOST to New England (think Baylor over TCU) they beat a team that beat New England (think TCU over WVU) and they think that is more important than the actual loss to the Pats.

Can you see anyone making this arguement? No, they would be laughed out of town. So why are they allowed to get away with it in college football? In any other sport this would never happen except for figure skating and gymnastics.

you guys should realise that following your logic
bama never should have been 2011 champ since they already lost to lsu
lsu would have won the title after crushing okl st

but yet nobody disputes after the champ game that bama was the deserving champ and probably the best team

also just invision that the pac12 would also round robin and arizona would have lost only once
following your logic they msut have been ranked above oregon since they beat them

but you all know which ist the better team

No, using my logic LSU should have been guaranteed a spot in the national title game over Alabma. Using the logic of putting TCU in over Baylor would be putting in Bama over LSU in the 2011 title game because Bama won the "eye" test or some other random standard even though LSU beat Bama in the regular season. I have no problem with Bama beating LSU in the "title game" and being crowned the champs. Same with the 2007 NY Giants over the Pats who the Pats beat in the last week of the season and were undefeated until the Super Bowl. Have no problem calling the Giants Super Bowl Champs because they won the title game.

Just like my example above, if the Pats and Broncos make the AFC title game and the Broncos win they deserve to go to the Super Bowl and are the better team however based on the regular season if they both finish with the same records the Pats are first and get all of the advantages ahead of the Broncos because they won the head to head regular season game.

Zona and Oregon are a little different because they both play unbalanced conf schedules. Oregon missed USC and ASU while Zona missed Stanford. TCU/Baylor did not play unbalanced schedules. 10 of their 12 games were vs common opponents.

First off, quit using any NFL comparisons. The NFL is a true league whereas CFB is not. ...and yes I'm an LSU fan and yes BAMA may have been the overall best team in 2011 but LSU did what they had to do at the right time IN BAMAS STADIUM!!!! Shoulda been OKie lite in BCSNC.

im not really caring to much about either, but baylor did win that game on a huge non call by the refs in that game,or it could have been a call for them,i forget which it was either way but it was costly to tcu
