Hey guys, there are a lot of comments about last year streaks. I think we should be looking at the streaks of this year (1st half of the season). I'm not taking the approach of that Tater is taking, but I think that you should go through the teams and see which have not been able to cover 3 consecutive road games. I bet you will find some.

i think covers would be best to look at data like that.
this has given me a spark also. ive been extremely lazy with my capping lately, no focus at all. but i took a glance at things and tater is definatly on to something. just looking at the last 15 games for each team i noticed NJ and S.A. were the only teams able to pull off sweeps on the long road trips and maybe 1 other club i forget.
i disagree with the martingale idea becuase if it doesnt work youre down 6 units and now it has to work 7 other times to go ahead.
so far (not sure going to covers and sift through this for while to come to stronger conclusions) it seems like this is good for helping to narrow your plays down. in other words look at all the games where teams are on long road trips and take a hard look at the home team involved in each play and see if everything else kind of jives.

How many times did they cover the first 2 and then not cover the 3rd game. Cover all 3?
How many times has a team gone on exactly a 4 game road trip?
How many times did they cover the first 3 and then not cover the 4th game? Cover all 4?
How many times has a team gone on exactly a 5 game road trip?
How many times did they cover the first 4 and then not cover the 5th game? Cover all 5?
You'd only be betting the last game of the road trip and only if the team has coverd all the previous games on that trip.
