I pulled out the poker stash and laid some money on Tarver for +500 at WSEX. Jones' trainers have stated that Roy doesn't have the reflexes he once had, and is close to retirement. Sex has some good odds, especially on a couple over/under's I'm pondering.

This PPV card is starting to shape up. I might have to fork out for the cash because my Direct TV is still down. Damn!

Gil, you are a trip! Just love those puppies.
Jones is scary but I drop a nickel on Tarver
as he is motivated. Jones is a physical phenom
for sure. And the drop in weight. Interesting.

I bet Tarver the 1st time and if he had been more active he woulda won that one.
Gimme Antonio + the odds.

Terrible bet: Jones was exhausted from see-sawing in weight and Tarver still couldn't do anything. Roy is like any other elite athlete: he won't perform unless he feels pushed or threatened. He will pick Tarver apart.

Hmm? Lets see here. Jones is like any other elite athlete, who will perform on;y when
pushed? Where did this information come from?
I'd say most professionals who are dedicated
try and perform their best under circumstances
other than that alone. I am notsaying by any means that Jones is not highly gifted. I believe
that saying he needs to be pushed and will only perform under these conditions isn't accurate.
To be sure, Tarver is not God's gift to the boxing world, be he just may have enough to
steal a decision here. Nothing is ever a "lock".

I am glad and i am not the only one around here that tarvers only shot is a injury. Jones showed me alot in his fight against Tarver, worst boxing performance but great crisis managment.
I am on Jones at -450 and i dont even sweat. If Tarver beats Jones i better get a day job, its a good idea anyway.
