The BUCS have a very confident week of practice leading up to this game and they actually feel they can still salvage this season.............expecially with Atlanta on the schedule in 2 of their next 4 games.

Recently, the BUCS seem to always play well @ Atlanta, having won the last 4 match-ups there quite easily..............

Bucs +4 is my biggest play of the season. I'm up 75 units on the year and may put 1/2 of them on the Bucs.....good luck to us both.

Atlanta struggles against teams that run cover 2 and I think the Bucs offense is finally coming together. We'll see!!!

I agree with The Fish: Tampa may have turned the corner on its early-season troubles-- Griese's made a big difference at qb, Gruden seems to have a lot of confidence in him...Anyhow, all they needed was one tiny oomph, as ONLY 1 of their losses has been by more than 1 TD: a 10 point loss. Atlanta on the other hand, though it may well win this game; while sporting a nice 6-2 record, has been blown out of the park in its two losses; and the line itself is telling: only favored by 3-4 points.
TB's not the same team as earlier in the season-- best analogy i can muster is the America's Cup: change of first mate has in part righted the course of this vessel......

We must recognize that year in and year out, there're teams that don't start out the season on the right foot & get written off too quickly by the fickle press(that wants to anoint SB participants after 4-0 starts)-- when they start improving we can then cash in before it becomes obvious(as in the case of Pittsburgh & perhaps KC)while the lines are still in our favor(though not in this case, i wanted more points-- teaser may be the way to go here). Cincinnati may be another such example, though on maybe a lesser level. Buffalo's improving, Seattle too-- whether these two have improved enough to win today is debatable, but they now play much better than when the season started-- their opponents better not be looking past them to the next game......

I will also be making an ACTION POINTS bet on this game, as I feel the BUCs have a much better chance of winning this game by 10 than losing by 18.

We hadnt talked about this game at all this week, but i too like the Bucs in this spot getting the points...

And no, i dont always like them as a betting proposition..

They always play the falcons well, and have been one of the few teams that have managed to reign in Vick each time they play them...

The defense is a little different this year, but still effective, and the offense is emerging into a much better one...

Think the bucs win this one, and get right back in the division race...

sorry to all but i have tamba bay +4 and i suck as of late. no need to watch as either atl wins with ease or will it be a gut wrenching loss. my prediction is I lose by 6 in ot so then i will go jump off my balcony.
