I had a great day yesterday and I need Louisville to cover to finish off a 4-teamer and a 5-teamer. I'm thinking of hedging enough to cover the cost of the wagers involved and gambling on the rest. Anyone care to share your capping insite on this game?

I would hedge for sure. MSU plays a slower tempo and are not the worst 16 seed you will see.

Personally, take the guaranteed profit, unless you love this game, unlike any other.

I wouldn't hedge it so fast, I really think Louisville covers this one but BOL with whatever you decide. :toast::toast:

I agree PG. If I remember right, you had some big money coming if this hits. I would definitely hedge ...but that's just me. Congrats btw!

I just got done hedging ML parlays with West Virginia and Florida State (took Dayton and Wisky ML to cover my bets). Its like I'm risking $10 to win $145 on one of them and $1 to win $52 on the other. Can't beat those payouts IMO. Good luck with whatever you do, but I would hedge for sure.

Honest question, not trying to criticize, but:
Why would you add Louisville in your parlay if you were just going to hedge them out of it?

FWIW, I think Louisville covers easily.

I actually put Louisville in my plays not realizing that they played a day after the others. Since I noticed that was the case and all the others hit, I am considering hedging.

Question: Why hedge Louisville in a parlay? You just need the winner for a parlay....at least from what I know. I usually stay
away from them especially in tournaments due to so many upsets, but Louisville should win easily.

It's not a ML parlay.

I'm waiting til the last minute. Bodog is already up to 22.5. If this game steams up to 24, I could hedge and have a narrow shot at a middle.

THats the right thing to do right there. You might even buy a half point or even a full one to ensure a better middle. I would hedge for 25% and try to get lucky, who knows? Good luck! BBB:103631605

If the Cards play with energy and play their A-game, there is no way Morehead State can handle their pressure.

Picking such large spreads has a lot of obstacles. Once a team gets up 25, may be time to start resting players for the 48 hour turn around.

To quote Bart Simpson (when he is going to jump in the teleporter with the fly in the hopes of becoming a super fly boy), "I'd be stupid not to do it." That's what you should be thinking.

All your other legs hit, you need one more. 100 bucks to see over 2000? I think it is an easy decision to max out your cc's, and at least put 400 on Morehead st. You either don't cover and lose 100 bucks, don't cover and win 400, cover and win 2359, cover and win 1959.

With the amount of money you could win, seriously, you'd be stupid not to hedge it.
