More often than not rain helps the over with a lot of turnovers .... I only look at high winds for the under and bad snow sometimes.. but rain.. could help a game go over.. :103631605

Not easy to throw a wet/slippery football ... Teams change gameplans and run more than than normally would ... I agree the turn-over factor makes it a little scary !!

yep...throwing the ball and rb's holding on to it.. been doing this way to long to jump on an under due to rain.. if anything I will be on the over. like i said the best support for help in a total is very high wind and no rain.. or bad snow

so you guys think turnovers help the over???

from playing football for years, i know that in wet nasty games rb and wr's have a terrible time in creating seperation. kickers cant plant there feet correctly, wr's dropping catches and so on.

either way i would like to just cash 4 of 6

a lot of turnovers will help the over especially if they are in there own portion of the field!!! WR's know where they are going in a route.. CB's dont and often lose footing allowing separating for a wr in the rain..

Michigan St game totally affected by the weather so far ball is too slippery. tons of dropped passes. its become an urban legend that rain does not effect the Total... it does. you have to gauge the amount of rain.

Sorry man with all due respect these points dont make any sense. I never heard anyone say turnovers help over. If the rain is bad enough for one team to turnover the ball in there own territory, then the weather is also bad enough to have the other team turnover as well.

The problem here is that the following is also true:a lot of turnovers will help the Under especially if they are in where you are going in for a score !!!

Turnovers can help the OVER or the UNDER depending on where they occur. problem is you dont know

the part about receivers and cb's is also a wrong, in the rain both know where they are going... DOWN if they both dont slow down and hence a slow game. watch the second half ot the michigan st game today to see the rain create havoc.

i agree occams

a turnover here and there can affect the o/u either way. but a game where there are MANY turnovers should help an under.

0-1 so far with the AF under going over

since 1998, the under is 63% in 'rain' games. 65.9% in college, 61% in pros. hope this helps
