Which receiver would you pick IF YOU HAD TO PICK one for your team. You can't say "neither" Why do you pick your choice....less of a cancer? Better on the field? Isn't Randy Moss better on field AND less of a locker room cancer?

My pick is Randy Moss as he is less trouble (though trouble still) in the locker room and he is questionable on the field at times and glorious at others but the locker room tripe that T Owens offers makes him a big fat NO in my book. Here's a line the ESPN guy on here can use (and there is one on here) and I won't charge you: T.O. has become a big N.O. for me. Use that on the TV time you get and I'll send you a special email with a big fat thanks and not much else. tulsa

Moss quits on plays ... I'm sure that causes problems in the locker room.

I think TO is actually less of a cancer maybe just a melanoma, Moss is bone cancer.

T.O in a heartbeat. Who was the best player in the Super Bowl for Philly? T.O with one leg. Say what you want about the guy but in a day and age when too many guys get a big contact and stop playing as hard T.O brings it each and every sunday and plays big in the big game. (Too many people forget his catch in Green Bay when he got clocked in the end zone and still held on to the ball) Where was Randy Moss in the NFC finals against the Giants. Moss isn't a post season player.

TO is a much more complete football player. Moss is faster but not near the route runner or the lateral quickness of TO. TO still fast enough to get you deep though also making him a no brainer. This stuff not taking attitudes into account though.

Moss hands down unless injured cause his hammy which really hasn't healed but Randy had a few problems off the field.but on the field plus respect from other players made up for that off the field crap.T.O has many issues now including the respect from his other players/coaches too.

Moss is boss troubles were.......

"I play when I want to play" when asked about why he wasn't sprinting on a few plays.

Bummped and then pushed a meter reader cart after they were ticketing his SUV......cop said maybe 10 feet she was pushed. Still a classless thing to do.

The walking off the filed with 2:00 against Washington where other players just shook their heads .......was wrong and he apoligized.

Pulldown fake against the Packers which was ok child like at best but if you knew what the fans do after every game against the Vikes they moon the Vikes bus driving away......like I said Randy act like a star in those moments.

Randy has many charites still here and has been visting those in the off season but hey a handfull of dumchit moves but closing in on 100 TDS in 7 years!!!!!!! Randy Moss if he want's will surpass any wideout for all records!

I would take TO..

The stance he and Rosenhaus took on ABC yesterday was unbending..Its one thing to discuss your needs, but locker room stuff stays in the locker room..The pissing contest they seem to enjoy playing is disrespectful to the fans and the team..Its a strategy that to the common man may not make much sense..

The attitude that he doesnt need to talk to his QB, team mates, and certain coaches makes no sense..Or do it and dont tell the public..Its grandstanding at its peak..I am interested to see how this plays out..Someone out there will take him..But who???..

If my favorite team got him I would applaud their efforts..Lets see what happens..

Moss, he's more dangerous, tougher to defend and stretches the defense.

Moss seems to be more of a playmaker, has better moves to elude tacklers, and can really get up to go for a ball.

I admire T.O. for playing through injuries, hanging onto the ball, and his power, but Moss has made some acrobatic catches and moves that defy explanation.

Are you kidding me !? Moss is easily the better of the two, no question. Let's rate these two on a normal wide receiver-scale type comparison....

Hands- No question here. T.O. is waaay to inconsistent, drops too many catchable balls and uses his body too much when catching. He does make some nice catches at times, but every NFL receiver will make a nice catch, thats why we watch them on TV. Moss, while he also tends to lose focus at times, is much more consistent and can catch anything within five yards of his frame, horizontally or vertically. He is better at jump balls than T.O., and is much more consistent when he has to use one-handed catches.

Blocking- Many people will find this hard to believe, but if you watch tape of Randy blocking last season, you can't help but notice how much improvement he made from a few seasons ago. I remember numerous crack-back blocks and blocks which helped Bongterrio and others weave downfield for a TD. Now he isn't Hines Ward caliber, but my point is that he isn't as soft as everybody thinks he is. Now T.O. is muscularly much bigger than Moss, however I fail to see it being used to help in the running game. Like Randy, I have seen T.O. make some good blocks in his career, but it seems like his effort is equal with randy's.

Routes- Again, Moss has T.O. beat here as well. T.O. tends to round off some of the sharper breaking routes in games which leads to less separation between him and the DB. Granted T.O. will sometimes catch these anyways, most receivers aren't able to get away with it. Moss also will round off his routes as well but for different reasons. When the play isn't going to him or if he is tired, THEN he will round off his routes. When the ball is going to him or if he feels like running his route full speed, it is a much smoother and fluid route than any route T.O. runs.

Release- This is the only category that I might give to T.O, simply because of his power. While Moss does have excellent quickness for his size, he will get held up at the line by some of the larger corners in the league. Nobody wants to press T.O. no because of his quickness, but because of the fact that he will bitch slap you repeatedly until he gets open. DB's don't want that.

Deep Ball- Again I must give this edge to Moss. While both receivers are similar height wise, Moss is much faster than T.O. is and knows how to get deep on a defense which is obviously stacked to his side. It seems that whenever I see T.O. going deep he never works the DB, he just runs straight ahead hoping for McNabb to put it in a spot where the DB can't get to it. This might be under the "routes" category as well, but nevertheless, Moss owns any jump ball or over the shoulder catch.

Summary- While Moss does have T.O. beat in mostly every category, T.O. is better at catching in traffic and going inside. As far as being team cancers, both are equally bad IMO. Moss may be happy now in OAK, but give him a few weeks of not catching 10 passes a game and we'll hear from him. Both guys had two of the best receivers ever to coach them (Carter and Rice), but the edge in pure football talent must be given to Randy Moss.

Definitely Moss....best receiver in the game...quiet off the field...not as much a head case as TO.

TO easily. I know TO gives 100% on it. If the pass doesn't go Moss' way, he takes the play off.
