PP,
No problem, always willing to help.
As for Ike, I am pretty sure he stays. Knowing his family which are both teachers and his older brother. Unless he finishes his coursework this year. Also depends on coach Rob, which I am pretty sure he comes back.
As for coach Rob, going 18-10 every year with a tourney (NIT.NCAAs) every year will be okay because of where the program was before he got there. They would have to bring in a big hitter of a coach and I am not sure if there are that many out there (Majerus, Keady, Lavin). Really depends on the SunDevil Foundation, buyouts and who may be available. His teams have always played very, very hard and very few times embarrassed themselves. Other than Ike, the talent they have is young. I say coach Rob should be given a couple more years. Think of it this way, there really is not much BB talent in AZ. Look at the UofA roster and they don't really get that many players from Zona (other than Frye). Most of their impact players are from outside the state. It is just not a hotbed for high school BB. Coach Rob got Ike and almost had Daniel Horton but that was going to be a bad deal had he come as he had BAGGAGE Big Time!!!
If you have noticed, ASU has been the launching ground for ADs. I wish Gene well. I think he ran a pretty good ship but it may be time for them to go into another direction. It would have been nice knowing he would be gone a few months earlier as D Goss from USC took the AD job as Syracuse. I think he would have been a good fit at ASU since he knows the conference and all.
That's a wrap from Dallas.
WinOne!!
