Who are your upset picks?

I really like ND ML +115.

I dont think ND is getting much respect here being the 2pt underdog when they've beaten 5 Sweet 16 teams.

Mich St
NC St
Louisville
Duke (twice)
UNC (twice)

Plus winning the ACC Championships in the toughest conf in the nation. Meanwhile Wich St lost to Ill St in their tournament. I see a hard fought defensive battle with ND pulling out a gritty win in the end.

I agree. Just don't think its much of an upset, IMO. They aren't getting respect by Vegas, but public is on Witchita bc they are a "Cinderella" type team.
I think Notre Dame wins this game too.

ND has looked pretty bad in the tourney. they have plenty of shooters and grant..but not much of anything else....nevermind butler blowing the game. northeastern had a chance to win the game as well.

witchy should be able to slow this team down

The gauntlet ND had to go through to win the ACC is amazing. The only problem is they are due to lose after barely winning their last 2 games.

Sweet 16

#7 Seeds off a DD SU qwin are 5-1 ATS

Mike Brey who is happen to like is 1-9 ATS in the tournament

Not sure I would go against Pitino with 4 days to prepare, plus his 20-5 ATS record on revenge games.

Look for ND to try and get WSU in foul trouble early.

Not sure who has the better team tonight but ND has a much better resume against good competition.

I've always looked at 2 stats. How did you do in close games, how did you do against the top 40?
Upgrading the second question to how do you stand against the remaining teams, here are the answers.
ND is 7-1, Wichita 0-1 against teams left.
ND is 9-2 in games decided by 5 or less, Wichita 4-2
In close games against teams left in the Dance, ND is 3-0, Wichita 0-1

The Irish are coming in with a 31-5 record after losing 17 games last season. They haven't reached the Elite Eight since 1979. Gregg Marshall can rattle off the teams he has faced is the 3 last years is akin to listening to a Wall Street guru rattle off blue chip stocks in their portfolio; Ohio State, Louisville, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas etc. The latter their unwilling in-state rivals for over 20 years. The Shockers blew them off the frickin' floor in the round of 32. Berating them is only one stop on a journey the Shockers believe is far from complete.

Shockers have one of the most suffocating defenses but they have the ability to run the floor if need be...yes, they can switch it up a notch! The Irish have a free-flowing offense butthey have had some serious luck in their last 7 games including the ACC Tourney!

Kentucky defeated Wichita last season in the Round of 32 when thet Shockers were undefeated!

Yes, I luv the Shockers and coughing up 1 1/2 points is no sweat! Take it to the bank, dooods!
