Who else is one of the few left in thier pool after 1 week one I picked Philly. But Amazing how many went out in our pool with Indy and SDG plus the other upsets. Out of 125 players we only have 16 left.:nohead:

I had NE as well. Glad I used them now with Brady done. I am big on not using road teams unless necessary. That being said here are the games I think are up for debate this week...

Jax home vs Buf
Zona home vs Miami
Seattle home vs SF
TB home vs Atl

My pick is Jax. Buf so different at home. I think Jax regroups and dominates this game.

Wow that is hard to believe. We lost about 33 percent which I was pleased about. Losing 87 percent is unheard of.

That is so hard to believe. Must have been a lot of novices in your pool. I imagine the 16 players left all took New England. I thought Indy & San Diego were very vulnerable. I suppose most people in these pools only reference the vegas lines, and I believe New England was off the board most of the week. That left Indy -9.5 & San Diego -9 as the two most lopsided favorites. Headline will read "Novices badly hurt in week 1 survivor pools." It's like taking cany from a baby.:nohead:

No this one is str8 up winners no lines. Most not are not novices most like SDG and Indy. Two had the Texans I have to check and see if they were Max and texansfan. I think about 8 of them had NE and I had Philly a long with one other guy. 3 had the Jets. Not sure about the rest I will go back and see what the losers had.

Carolina was playing without their best player Steve Smith and were +475 on the ML, sure you thought they were winning

Bears were also +475 and I bet them hard. Great spot for the Bears. Super bowl revenge, Indy's starting center Saturday was out, Peyton missed the whole preseason with an injury, and Indy got their asses kicked each preseason game. Regarding Carolina, I had them +9. No money line bet but I could of. Not that big of a money line player. Had the Bears +475 because it was a Sunday night game and nothing else to bet on. Like I said before anybody who took Indy or San Diego, when there was Philly, New England, Pittsburg, Etc to choose from are novices.

I am in one with 6700 and 2300 out!!!

That seems to be the standard. About 1/3 eliminated in most pools. Obviously the pool Nhoj is in had many novices. Basically those contestants referred to Vegas lines and saw Indy and San Diego were the 2 most lopsided favs at -9. I believe New England was off the board. If New England was on at -16, many of these novices would have been saved.:nohead:

I guess I'm in with sharpies. 33 to start, only 7 eliminated, and only 1 guy had Indy. 5 had SD, 1 had Jax????? 11 survivors had Philly, 6 had Pitt, 4 had NE, 2 Dallas, 2 Jets(??), 1 Giants.
This week I'm looking at TB and Arizona as the safest choices.

This has to be the most difficult 2nd week in years for Survivor pools. When you are considering TB and Arizona as the safe bets, possibly Seattle as well who just got crushed... and then the other best options are road teams.

There will probably be less that 50% of players alive in most pools after week 2.
