I have waited to make my play and this is it. This game will not be close at all because of Texas' ground game. The ground at the Rose Bowl will be perfect for the Texas attack. Also the inexperience at QB will dig a deep hole for the Wolverines. Both teams here may not have deserved a RoseBowl bid, but I am glad they did.:103631605 Ive heard many radio shows say that 7 is a real high number for this game. I agree they are begging for Michigan action, and is ideal for a big play situation. Historically Michigan is awfull in RoseBowls and this year will be no different. Texas has played down to their competition alot this year and almost all the time has still pulled out the win. On the other hand Michagan has been outplayed by teams like San Diego St. and were KILLED by teams like Notre Dame and when it counted most by Ohio St. their rival. I really feel like Michigan playing in the RoseBowl last year, will be worse for them instead of better. First off last years team was a better all around team lead by Novarre and Perry. The guys on the team from last year will feel that if they couldn't do it last year with those guys then there is MUCH LESS hope this year. Its going to be dejavu for the Wolverines.
Texas is also doubted for being selected to the RoseBowl and have alot to prove to everyone, especially RB Cedric Benson who is a guy who could have won the Hiesman and will be playing in his final game. hmmmmm............
Cedric Bensons final game.
Mack Brown finally wins the big game.

Texas -7 Game Of the Year. :103631605

No way would I bet Texas in this game ...

the commentary: On the other hand Michagan has been outplayed by teams like San Diego St. and were KILLED by teams like Notre Dame and when it counted most by Ohio St. their rival. ... lets not forget Texas with a phantom call in Lawrence or they aint even in the Rose Bowl and struggled mightly with Arkansas .. and could not even score in the game that counts most for Texas - Oklahoma

Ohio State's easy blowout of Oklahoma State: the Big 10 is a power conference, populated with big, strong, physical football players as well as some guys with surprising speed. Ohio State dispatched a talented Oklahoma State team .... expect to see a Wolverine squad that is at least comparable to the Buckeyes in terms of size, speed and physicality. These guys will slug it out with Texas, and will present a huge physical challenge for the Longhorns.

Michigan has weapons on the outside with Braylon Edwards and running back Michael Hart.... Michigan will get its yards between the 20's...

The big question: do you feel comfortable giving up a TD in the Rose Bowl with Young @ qb ... Young is a good athlete but may have the worse passing mechanics in the past 20 yrs of college football .. flat ass terrible ... he can beat with his legs but wont ever beat ya with the pass

BOL ...

Thanks for the view from the other side doc. Edwards is a very good wide reciever Ill definately give you that. But I don't buy their running game with Hart, and this games ground is gonna be VERY moist. Running will be a big part of this game IMO.

When you talk about the Powerhouse Big 10 many would disagree.......i think.lol

Kinda like Purdue Powerhouse who just got bitchslapped by a "weak" Pac 10 team WITHOUT their all american QB in Arizona St. IMO its to hard to say who beat who when and what conferense is better when it comes to these bowl games. BTW Purdue beat Ohio St. by 7 and shoulda been more. So who beat who previously is not as relavant in Bowl games as you might think.

I think the question is : Doesnt Michigan +7 look tempting? :smoker2:

I doubt that its public money. IMO the public thinks that Michigan is a Very good team. Reasons being up in DocMercers response. And on top of that Ive heard all week how the line is way to high.

I have a winner here winbet. This is as solid as they come. The plays I post for you guys RARELY lose. This will be no different, i am VERY confident.:103631605

Not that it matters but I have talked to a few people here and so far 12 are on Texas and 6 on Michigan. I am starting to like Michigan more and more.

Think what you want but 55% of the MONEY is on Texas and those numbers are as acurate as you can get money wise not bets placed.

Benson may score 5 TD's today.

Michagan has not been able to do anything on offense or defense. Unfortuanately a 50 yard prayer was answered by B.Edwards and then the Fumble on the Punt gives em another one. Texas has dominated so farr but they need to stop giving this game back to the overmatched wolves.

Big second half comming.

Come on guys. Texas dominating. I don't think either one of these teams have dominated the other.

Just got back from the game and I couldn't believe how many more texas fans were there. Me and the girlfriend got some tickets from the neighbor and we went just for the fun of it. Never been to a Bowl Game. We left at half time lol. Too many freakin people. Lucky we took my motorcycle or we would never have gotten out of there.

First half I really thought Texas had it all in control.

That qb is an amazing running back. lol.

I agree Vince Young was spectacular but I haven't seen anyone giving B Edwards any props or Breaston. Without those two Michigan would have NEVER covered.
