Here's how I see it Denver's defense will keep this game close. They will shut down the run and pressure Cam all day long this won't be a cake walk for the Panthers.

Peyton knows he is not the answer and will manage the game if they can get the game into the fourth quarter, perhaps a FG wins the game.

The last 5 games the Panthers have out scored the opponents 114-24 in the first half, so Denver knows it needs to be sharp from the get go and the taste of SB48 is probably still in the minds.

I also think Denver will run the rock well, The panthers have good running stats on the defense but they also bury teams early and those teams then have to play catch up by throwing. The run game will keep Kuechly and Davis in check and with his arm being broken I got think they will be running at Davis alot. That should open up the passing game and although Josh Norman is a beast the Denver receiving corps are deep enough to challenge the Panther secondary.

On to the props

CJ Anderson O58.5 rush yards -117 1* CJ's last 4 rushing games 72, 72, 95, 73
Sanders at least one rush +269 .5* - End around? Wild Cat? Jets Sweep?
Longest FG O44.5 -134 1*
More points 2nd half and OT -131 1*
CJ Anderson MVP +3053 .5*

Denver +4.5 -102 4*
Denver ML +188 1*

Denver is 8-1 ATS after passing for less than 150 yards.

The best ML out there on Carolina is at BOVODA and SIA - I love Denver tmr - Defense wins championships !

Good analysis.
I think allot of the the seasonal stats for Denver's offense is misleading compared to Denver's current form too.

Ripper - That is a good point - Peyton had 17 INT's before taking a seat to heal - None since coming back. His passer rating was 90. vs NE pretty decent third best of the season

I 6 point teased Denver to the over. The thought behind this has to do with perfect weather conditions which will only help Manninig more. Cold weather has never been good for him. Note that the last Pittsburgh game went under mostly due to the wind. Carolina can be passed on..
Practices have been allot sharper lately,,,should be no lack of motivation after what happened to them in the last Super Bowl.
Elway and company built this team to win it all now..this was the deal when Payton came to Denver.
One of the reasons Fox left was that Elway and him had disagreed on the philosophy of peaking too early in the season. Denver had no juice left when it mattered most. It came as no surprise to me when Payton was pulled out mid season and brought back in late,,like a seasoned relief pitcher. There was no doubt in my mind that this was part of their big plan.
Public perception is mostly in favor of Carolina due to their last two performances. They played a Seattle team that was riding on fumes due to the energy it took to make the playoffs late in the season along with their series of road games leading up to this matchup. To come back in the second half was a partial letdown but also a credit to Seattle.
Arizona faded late in the season too. Palmer wasn't the same, after the finger sprain,,,they had lost some key defensive leaders..there was some loss of continuety on the defense. Arguing on the sidelines. They basically rolled over early in that game. Can't do that and expect to compete with Carolina.
Giants rallied late in their matchup. Atlanta and Saints did as well. All in all, I think Denver should be able to have their fair share of success moving the ball. I could go on and on about this matchup. I'll stop now.

From the betting prospective. The Broncos have a great shot of winning this game outright. Getting teaser points is a tremendous value!

For me it's.
Denver +11.5 & over 39!

What's the over/under on Cam Newton's rushing yards? I've heard that they're going to force Cam to run, likely with good corners/not good WRs you will see Cam rushing a bit. If they get down, he will be scrambling for firsts. Looking into this prop. Also the over/under on James Stewarts rushing yds
