2. revenge for pats from 2 yrs ago when they lost at seattle in a come from behind win be the seahawks. sherman became a nationally recognized player with that "you mad bro?" meme after that game. i doubt brady or belichik have forgotten that.

3. pats are playing a team other than the giants in the sb, means that they win

4. i am 5-6 in the playoffs, i am ascending to the mean. i bound to win this game and finish 6-6 and also get to 39-39 for the yr.

5. seahawks offense is really not very good outside of lynch. wilson is very overrated and will be a great fade next yr when he has is 25 mil/yr contract and the talent on defense gets depleted.

6. line was seahawks -3 and immediately bet down to pk. don't think that was the public moving that line!

7. eyeball test... seattle got out physicalled (sp) by gb. lacy ran all over them, i think that pats can do the same thing if they want

9. seattle apparently plays alot of base defense and just wins the individual battles. pats know this and will be able to devise formations or plays to pick at the weak part of the seahawks d like a scab. kind of like what gb did, but gb let off the gas in the 2nd half and the pats do not believe in letting off the gas.

To OP, nice post but Seattle's defense isnt being dismantled for a few years; many of these guys are still under contract for a little bit.

When you draft like they do, you'll be fine more often then not. They find gems who are UDFA and late round picks and guys who other teams cut (like the Pats). Look at O'Brien Schofield for instance, he will be a great player for them

I lean pats to win the Super Bowl because its probably Brady's last ride to the big dance

1. anecdotally, that has been my observation (teams that cry lose next game) i remember it most vividly with niners beating gb on terrel owens td catch as time expired but it happened again about 3 yrs ago, just don't remember who it was now. but maybe two weeks is enough time to gather themselves, who knows.

3. seahawks defense is good but the stats have been padded against poor qbs. decent qb's can move the ball on them. gb rushed for 135 on them and they knew rodgers was limited. also, pats could have won both those sb against the giants. took amazing plays both times to beat them

5. pats will stop lynch and make seattle beat them with russell making throws to avg recievers. they always take out the other team's best weapon. they can load up on the run because browner and revis can shut down the mediocre seattle recievers.
