-The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook was the first book to open a Super Bowl LVII line. They opened at pick-em and took a $20,000 wager on Chiefs PK, per ESPN's David Purdum.
-Caesars Sportsbook opened the game pick-em as well, but moved to Eagles -2 within an hour.
“When we made all the lookahead matchups last week every game was between a 1-point spread and pick’em, so this game seems like a natural toss-up,” Adam Pullen, Caesars Sportsbook Assistant Director of Trading, said in a release. “We opened as a pick’em but the market is moving strongly toward the Eagles. We took some Chiefs money early before we saw a bunch come in on the Eagles. So far, most of the action has been on the Eagles.”
-South Point sportsbook director Chris Andrews told VSiN that the flip of favorites from Chiefs to Eagles was due to a combination of respected bets and moving with the market.
-Circa Sports in Las Vegas opened with the highest line on Kansas City, at Chiefs -2. A little over 20 minutes later, the Super Bowl LVII spread at Circa was Eagles -2.5.
