panthers -3.5
1. this team has the swag and destiny of the '85 bears, the 90's cowboys. they are young and loose.
2. probably undervalued due to peyton manning on the other side and everyone will say he wins and goes off into the sunset
3. the bronco d is good but like i said last week, they are not '85 bears great, or 2001 ravens great. cam will be able to do some things that brady was not able to.
4. manning will do what he does, score about 17-20 points which i don't think will be enough.
5. manning has now played two games in a row without an int. i don't think its possible he goes 3 games in a row without an int or turnover.
6. many more reasons to come....

as a side note the last super bowl i lost was the steelers over the seahawks about 10 years ago.

ron rivera bringining that swag back.

little known fact: ron rivera orchestrated the "dab" behind the scenes for cam. he told cam in the preseason they needed something along the lines of the super bowl shuffle that kids of today would go viral with. he knew gary fencik's non heterosexual dance moves would turn off the younger generation

panthers didn't need 7 turnovers to beat the cards. also, liked the tone of the post game cam newton interview. he wasn't crying for joy, he was immediately focused on the next game. panther players were crying for joy like you see on some teams, that win a playoff game. their eyes are on the prize.

6. when peyton won his superbowl, he actually played poorly in it. its just that sexy rexy played even worse. peyton is a creature of habit and i think the two weeks off coupled with all the pre-super bowl interviews and hoopla mess with his regimented schedule

I'm seeing and hearing a lot of talk about how good and dominating this bronco defense is. I don't see Carolina having a problem moving the ball, just like Pittsburgh didn't. Cam is basically a younger and healthier Big Ben. I think Denver will have a tougher time moving the ball on carolinas defense than vice versa.

I agree 100%.......this Panthers defense isn't getting any respect. Its all bout the Denver defense. I don't have the balls to lay -3.5 or higher, so I went with a teaser.......I'm thinking of laying heavy juice on the ML as well.......just don't see Carolina losing this game.

Question to the bronco backers: if the line keeps rising and gets to 7 and stays there til kickoff do you starting messing in your pants? If this line gets to 7 then I'm throwing more money on the panthers. It will be a sure sign that the bookmakers put out a bad line. Line doesn't move move 3.5 to 7 on "public action" crossing 4, 6, and landing on the 7. Are you kidding me?!

You're right, super bowl lines crossing 2 key numbers is unheard of.........its a sign not good for Bronco backers IMO......but Manning getting waxed once more in the SB is insane, but could happen.

He hasn't played well in any of his 3 sb appearances so I don't expect that to change now.

intangibles lining up nicely for panther bettors...

1. bronco team busses involved in a minor crash, but multiple players reported headaches and soreness
2. ryan murphy practice squad player for broncos is sent home after his brother caught up in prostitution sting. he not an important player to the team but a distraction nonetheless.
3. broncos have no team curfew
4. elway jinxing himself and saying this is why they fired fox. so far they haven't done anything fox hasn't accomplished with the team

for the conspiracy theorists:
why wouldn't the nfl want cam newton to be the new face of the nfl? he's young, good looking, no tattoos, no legal issues. thomas davis is going to play with screws in his arm, jared allen going to play with broken foot. jerry richardson wont be around too many more years, he should get a superbowl before he dies. he already paid his dues by losing one to the pats a few years ago. LOL

i don't believe in nfl conspiracies but this was for the benefit of those who do.
