I thought I would get the pick out there before the line went up. I dont' see either defense playing tonight with both teams running up and down the court and shooting well. Still a close game with the Suns trailing so they will have extra motivation to keep up.

any thought on taking GS +11 1/2?
Yes. I'm glad you asked. Thinking about taking them as well. Let's see if the line goes up any further as the steam is pushing toward Phoenix.

GS slowing things down in the half-court. Only 41 points scored in the 3rd quarter. 63 more points needed.

Warriors went cold in the 4th quarter so this one goes under. I still think the over was the best call on this one. Let's get 'em Wednesday night.

Of course I had GS +14 and of course they get outscored 35-17 in the 4th quarter to push. :WTF: :WTF: :WTF:

Between this and Boston I don't need any reason to become an alcoholic. It even should've lost thanks to that idiot Robinson getting 2 technical fouls with 37 seconds left. I can't believe they folded.

There's no way anyone would know GS would fold so badly in the 4th. Perhaps you can take consolation that your bet had a good chance of winning. In other words, it wasn't because of a poor choice on your part. Also, Phoenix missed both free throws of the technical. Otherwise you would have lost instead of pushed.

You have a pretty good record. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Hustler982. I have a 3rd subset that I've been working on that is 8-1 since November 27th (of the games I have been tracking). It's a 2nd-half set of picks so I can't give out the picks ahead of time.

I think it's time to break it out. More later.

Fantastic job on the 2nd half plays. I see a ton of money that can be made in only 2nd half plays.

here are a couple of trends that I have made a ton of money in the nba with using strict discipline with each. I tried them in the ncaa and they have hit but at a much lower % and have to tighten them up for college hoops before hammering them. Now I cant produce records as I cant watch and follow them every night due to other committments but watch them for a bit and you will see what I am talking about.

2nd half system #1: My fav one since it usually plays against what the public would play.

Play the 2nd half UNDER if the 1st total (closing total)is 60% or more of the game total. This is really a hammer play and you MUST play ONLY 60% or higher. No rounding up!!! I'm not saying that 58% and higher won't win you money but I use 60% as the rock solid %.
Example: Last night GS/PHX game total was 206 with a 1st half total of 129. Well 129/206 = 62.6% This is an extremely high % so it was a big hammer play for me. Then the 2nd half line was 104 and the final 2nd half total was 93. An easy winner. Now I love this since teams start to slow the game down and take more care of the ball with better half court sets trying to keep a lead in the 2nd half. Sometime you can get an extra point or 2 with the public seeing "hey they scored 129 in the 1st half and the line is only 104, man I am going to hammer the over". I will advice you that this system is NOT good for the reverse and playing the over 2nd half if the total is 40% of the game total. Unlike hot shooting nights that cool off, teams usually don't throw up bricks in the 1st half and come out on fire in the 2nd half.

2nd Half system #2:

If the game favorite is a bigger 2nd half favorite than PLAY THE 2nd HALF DOG.
Example: Dallas/Phx and phx -4 is the game line. The 2nd half line is phx -6 (typically because the dog is up big at the half) than play the 2nd half dog which would be Dallas +6. This does hit at a high % but I am more confident in the 1st system. Yet this one brings home alot of winners as well.

Well good luck and keep posting those winners quantem.

Does anyone know of a site that posts the 2nd half lines from previous days. I would like to track each system from the beginning of the year and see what the records would be.

system #1 produced another winner in the laker/phx game tonight.

128 scored in the first half and then under the 2nd half total of 105.

good luck to all that play this in the future.

Sorry about not responding to this until the middle of the Suns 1st half but I just saw it now. I've thought the very same thing. First-half lines are usually just a little bit over half of the line for the game. The Suns have gone over in the 1st half for the last 3 games but the 2 previous games before that they were under.

If the 1st-half line stays under 110 and the Suns go over that this game (which would be the 4th in a row) then the 1st half over would be a good bet against teams that give up a good amount of points.
