Whats up fellas. Sorry I have been away for the week and haven't been able to post anything. I went back to work in construction and been working overtime... consequently I haven't been able to research or look at any games until last night and this morning. Hopefully, I can provide some winners again today on my day off and make up for it.

Updated Record: 28-19-1 +$710

Illinois St -17.5 - The Redbirds have worked their way all the way up the ladder of the MVC and are now sitting at #2 spot. This is a huge deal and second place means a lot with tournament placement. Illinois State and Bradley have already faced off once this year at Bradley and ISU only won by 3 points but yet the oddsmakers have this game at -17.5! That is a big tell if you ask me, however most people are going to look at the last time they played and take the 17.5 points and think they are golden. I don't think so. Much more is on the line this time around with 5 games remaining and 3 of those games against Northern Iowa, SIU and Wichita St to end the season, that means this is a MUST win game at home for the Redbirds. They are 10-3 at home and right now they are playing their best ball of the season winning 6 of the last 7 and beating N.I., Wichita St and Evansville in the process. Bradley was out of everything weeks ago and have absolutely nothing to play for except to spoil dreams but I don't think that is going to be enough here. I also like the fact that they are at home and only 40% faves from what I see. Fade joe pub and give me the red hot Redbirds at home trying to keep their #2 seed alive going into their final 3 game brutal stretch of the season. They bring it today!

Evansville -4.5
- Same thing in this game with Aces just being the Redbirds and in a must win situation. The Aces have already beaten L-IL by 8 and since then have lost 4 of their last 6 so they are in desperate need of a win if they want to stay in contention for second place. Both of these have pretty good defenses but L-IL has a very poor offense and that should open up the opportunity for Evansville to pull away with this one in the time of need. Evansville is also one of the best defensive rebounding teams in the nation and L-IL is one of the worst offensive rebounding teams so this should limit many second chance opportunities and points for L-IL which I really like in a game like this. Coming off a 10 point home loss and going into a much needed win situation I expect the Aces to come ready. Three of their best players Mockevicious, Balentine, and Wing are all seniors and have been in many big games and they know what needs to happen today and what needs to get brought to the table to finish the season strong. Aces play like Aces today and cover this spread.
