The Rams are averaging an NFL 23rd-ranked 23 points per game and continue to improve and push that number upward. In fact, over their last 3 games they have cleared 30 points in each match averaging 34.6 points per game. That will correlate well against one of the worst defenses in the NFL in the Commanders who allow 30 points per game. Washington, on the other hand, is moving in the opposite direction, averaging 20 points per game this season but failing to clear 20 in their last 3 games, averaging just less than 15 points per game . Rams on Sunday in what is a must-win for a team that appears very much on the rise. Chiefs have to find a way to get things going offensively because they have had issues in that regard this season. Kansas City has been held under 20 points in six of their 13 games this season, going 2-4 in those games, while they are 6-1 when they score at least 20 points. New England has been held to seven points or less five times while reaching 20 points just three times this season. This is a game where you have to look at the edge the Chiefs have at quarterback and think that Mahomes can and will this team to a needed victory, even on the road. This is must game for KC !!!! The Chiefs have won the last two meetings against the Patriots, straight up and against the spread. This is a surprisingly big and important game for Kansas City. Their recent run of form has left a lot to be desired and the Patriots pretty much have nothing to lose at this point. With that said, I can’t imagine that New England will put together another game like they did last week. They will surely challenge the Chiefs with their defense, but the offense of New England has proven time and again that they are simply not good.
The loss to the Titans last week was brutal for the Dolphins. Their collapse at the end of the game is not something that a normal playoff team suffers. This could play a part in the Dolphins’ game on Sunday as they will try to bounce back. I think they will bounce back easily. The Dolphins dominated the Jets just a few weeks ago in New York. The Dolphins are also 3-2 against the spread when they have been a double-digit favorite. New York is also 4-2 against the spread at home.
