PLAYOFFS 2008/2009
YTD 0-1
SIDES 0-1
TOTALS 0-0

Lost with the youthful Blazers, as they were blinded by the spectacle that is the Playoffs.

LAKERS and UTAH both OVER Teams with top 10 Offenses and no top 10 defenses in sight, look to continue their 3-0 OVER trend from the regular season.

The regular season Series line average was 210 and the Man has not adjusted down for the playoffs, also putting up a 210.

The results of the 3 regular season games averaged 224 points. All 3 games bested 210.

LAKERS/UTAH OVER 210 (<)<

Looks like we have a situation in which the linesmaker is powerless to act.

The reg season lines put out for this match-up, averaged 210. Yet the match-ups averaged 224 points scored.

For the playoffs you'd figure the Man would adjust the line up by 5 points at least.

But he can't. If he puts up a 215, he will be swamped with UNDER bets from both the Sharps and the public who blindly believe, you bet UNDER in the playoffs.

The Books would be Sided and if the game went UNDER; Black Sunday revisited.

The Man has to stand pat.

Value to the OVER.

Line down to 209. Pressed my wager. Money is coming in on the UNDER. Public fancy themselves to be UNDER bettors in the Playoffs.

Should we hammer it???

Leave the hammering to the carpenters, this bet can lose just like any other bet. There are 3 other games today, make sure you're around for them and the rest of the playoffs. My buddy fucking actually tapped out yesterday. He put 3 Grand on Portland.

your buddy is nuts! I bet Portland small cause I wasn't sure but had Hous in the 2nd half to get it back. I try to keep that in mind too. There are LOTS of games in this playoffs. Lots of opportunities to win money.

Actually according to SportsInsights.com nearly 77% of the wagers are on the over, which includes nearly 31,000 # of bets in various sportsbooks. Therefore, the public is NOT on the under.

I do like the over though and will play it when its gametime.

O/U is 210 at sportsbook dot com. The line is not moving here. If I'm going to play this game, I would take the over. Playoff is a different beast compares to regular season. All super stars, starters will be in the game pending injuries. This is a do or die series.

No surprises, game played to form. Congrats to those on the OVER.

I posted the following reply earlier in another post. I know Im preaching to the choir, but there might be some newbies here that have lost their way:

There is absolutely no connection or cause and effect between what happened yesterday as a group and what will happen today as a group.

Each game is mutually exclusive. What happened yesterday as a group was random and coincidental

All games can go OVER again today or UNDER or go 50/50 or any other type of combination.

Capp each game individually.
