Via Adam Schefter: The NFL has instructed officials to stop Denver-Kansas City game when Peyton Manning breaks passing yardage record, likely on first completion. There then will be time for teammates to congratulate him, for a PA announcement to be made and for the ball to be given to a rep from the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Broncos executive John Elway pushed for immediate acknowledgment of the record, and the league granted his wish.

Entering today's game, the Steelers issued this statement from director of stadium operations Jimmie Sacco: "In response to the terror attacks in Paris, the Pittsburgh Police and other law enforcement agencies will be adding additional support services in connection with Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field. For obvious reasons, we cannot provide additional details concerning law enforcement activities."

Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who was a full participant in the team's Friday practice after sustaining a concussion last Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, has been cleared to return and is ready to play against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Coach Mike Zimmer said Friday he had no doubt Bridgewater would play, and a league source said Saturday, "He's all set."

Ahead of Monday night's game with the Texans the Bengals issued a statement about security at Paul Brown Stadium. They indicated their security approach, like that of other teams, has evolved since 9/11 and that it "will be in full force for the game Monday evening."
