Stitches--- NY Post. Lost AGAIN yesterday with another huge favorite (the Twins). Season record is 10-14 (but if you are fading, you are up big $$$, because he typically takes big favorites).

Sunday's play is the Padres.

With the Seattle Mariners clicking on all cylinders, I have a hard time seeing the Boston Red Sox lay more than $2 in this game.

I really don't care that Eduardo Rodriguez is on the bump for the BoSox, or that he is 3-0 with a 3.38 ERA, Chalk-eaters will look at this and think Seattle is going to be exposed. But there is more to numbers sometimes, and you have to appreciate value in baseball.

Seattle is turning to left-hander Nick Margevicius, and there is a major reason he'll be looking to bounce back from his last time out, when he exited early with left arm fatigue. Why? Because his last start came on one day’s fewer rest than he’s been accustomed to in a six-man rotation.

And let it be known, he was pitching well against Houston, allowing just one earned run on one hit in four innings, while striking out three.

His first career start against the Red Sox comes after six days of rest, and I like his chances to handcuff Boston's hitters, who don't know what they're getting into. Nobody is giving Margevicius a chance.

I'm not giving Rodriguez a chance against Seattle's surprising lineup that has scored 20 runs in its last three games. The Mariners won 8-2 yesterday, and will catch Rodriguez off guard with a quick start to support Margevicius.

Take the road pup.

The defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning have been a bit of a disappointment this month. Yes, they're 7-5-0, but during a recent 3-3 stretch they've been outscored 21-15. That includes a 3-1 win over Columbus on Thursday.

The Lightning should be destroying the Blue Jackets, who are 1-10-1 in April. After a mediocre look the other night, the Lightning are going to be at their best for this one, after a couple of days to collect themselves.

The Bolts have won five of their last six meetings at home versus Columbus, outscoring the Blue Jackets 23-12 over that stretch. Tampa Bay is 14-5-0 all-time at home versus Columbus. The .737 home point percentage is the team's highest at home against any NHL franchise.

Lay the puck line here, as the Lightning win big.

Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors Over 229.5 (-113)

The Sacramento Kings see their playoffs hopes fading each day. The Kings are 12th right now, two spots back of the play-in slots. They trail these Warriors for that 10th spot by 5 1/2 games. It doesn't help that the Kings are on a 2-8 S/U run as they enter play tonight. The Kings are also 4-8 ATS over their last 12 games. The Warriors have that 10th spot and a comfortable lead over 11th place New Orleans by four games. The Warriors have covered five of their last six home games. The Warriors are coming off a home win over Denver, 118-97 and have won six of their last eight games both S/U and ATS. The Kings have a 7-3 O/U record in their last 10 road games vs a team with a winning home record. The Kings can score a lot, but also give up a lot of points. Your Bonus Play is on the OVER.
