Lower weight assigned of -5. In my opinion, a movement of 5 is important, so this horse falls into this category. STARSHIP CAPTAIN - Sprinters that come back to the races quickly are generally good plays. Montanez is back up for another contest today after riding on board this animal for the first try on Jan 9th and ought to know the ropes to this one a little better. Grusmark brings him right back. I propose you stay with this strong gelding. CAST A DOUBT - The improved speed ratings over the last 3 races is solid. Levine drops him in this clash in great shape.

SPECTRUS - This thoroughbred coming off a nice performance in the last month or so is a win candidate in my humble opinion. SEEKING THE STITCH - Gonzalez and Brook perform well when they team up. It's hard to beat a +319 return on investment for a jockey and handler.

ALOHA MR. HAND - 9/5 odds isn't enough for this one when looking at the most recent showings. You always figure that this horse has a shot to be the victor, but he just misses regularly. ATOMIC RULE - Not likely that the fig he ********** on December 29th will be good enough in this race. LEGAL VICTORY - I foretell a setback for this animal in this race.

CHUFFED TO BITS - Ran in the last race against a much better field at Gulfstream. The move down in the class scale should suit him well. This gelding has the top turf figure in his last race. It doesn't take a college grad like The Brain to figure this here horse has a good chance. Running on the turf today, you should review a horse's class. This one has the top number in the bunch. STREET TRADER - Look for this horse to show much better in today's race. Last event at Tampa Bay finishing fifth on a sloppy track is no sign of his true talent.

Vulnerable Contenders: #8 TWO TERM LEADER (ML=9/5), #6 KHALED AGAIN (ML=9/2), #1 EPHRAM S (ML=5/1),

TWO TERM LEADER - On a downward moving cycle. Speed figs keep decreasing. Could be tough for this thoroughbred to beat this field off of that last speed figure. Not probable to improve enough to run a figure close to today's class figure, so put him on the vulnerable competitors list. KHALED AGAIN - The speed rating last out doesn't fit very well in this event when I look at the Equibase class figure of today's contest. Mark this entrant as a questionable challenger. EPHRAM S - When looking at today's class figure, he will have to earn a better speed figure than last time around the track to compete in this turf route.

Must be given a shot given the class of races run recently. SABRINA'S DANCE - Exhibits the look of a lucrative play, averaging a solid 83 Equibase Speed Fig which is one of the most respectable in this field. Have to wager on this money-making jockey and conditioner twosome. DREAMING OF BELLA - Very strong dividends over time for this rider and handler combo. Horses who have been prepared to race at this distance and surface by Ziadie have shown very solid results recently.

I think GENERAL DAY is a decent choice. He has to be carefully examined given the very strong speed numbers. Fergason has one of the most competitive winning percentages in this group with entries running at this distance and surface. Rosales will most likely be able to get this gelding to break out quickly in this contest. HE'S A GOBLIN - This gelding is coming back quickly to the track. This animal has some longshot handicapping angles going for him. PROMISCUOUS LAD - Could best this field here, showing respectable figs of late. Recorded a decent speed rating last time out.
