I usually don't play the game this early but I locked down Indianapolis -6.5 vs jax. I know. Indianapolis has been winning but they have been barely winning. They barely beat Detroit Lions. I'm just thinking they will have a big offensive game against the Jaguars. I just need a touchdown win. I think they can get it done. Jaguars beat Green Bay, but they are not going to show up with much intensity Thursday imo.

I like the colts at -6.5, but Jags always play the Colts tough. I haven't really looked at this game much, but I hope it gets bet up to 7 even 7.5.. then i'm all over the Jags

you know jax is indy's toughest games every year they beat us or play us vlose every time no matter what their records are. im guaranteeing you as a diehard colts fan they will not cover more than 2.5 here they win by a field goal this week. the public will bet the colts heavy this week at -6 and that is exactly what the books want because they know just like i do that this is always a close game. amwllc2000 should also know this as him and i have seen twon cheering more than us at jax v colts games he is a jax fan and they just always have our number and jones drew eats us up everytime. jax got their first win this year against us when they looked like crap. jax is always up for indy. indy v tenn. is alwways an easier win than indy v jax. guaransky they do not cover the 6 this week. so go ahead and bet with the public like i know you will cause 6 pts looks like no problem but just remember someone did try to warn you first. indy wins by field goal late!!!

You didn't give me anything to sway me. I'm sticking with Indy. If you've noticed my threads for the past several weeks, I can afford to lose this game. I just have to stick with the orginal bet. I do admit that Indy has not been blowing anyone out. In fact, they've been winning by mostly, 3 or 4 points but I am going with my play. We'll see what happens. Thanks for trying to warn me I guess.

I like the Jags +7, it will be at +7 or even 7.5 by Thursday.

Then you will see the sharps jump on it. I think the O/U may
climb to 45 or even 46. Anyway, I think the play will be

Jags +7 and Under 44.

Division rivals, plus Indy on the road, Jags can't even score well at home, but the defense will keep Indy under 24.

I see it around 24-20, could be even as far as 24-17. That is
why I like the +7, just in case.

tough call, is indy's defense worse than gb's in the right areas for jags ?

personally not touching jax, del-rio is a crazed fuk who cannot coach, the dick will do an onside kick at a dumb time and take no beating for it not working.....

I don't see it going to seven because I think SB's know sharps would pound Jax. The line opened at 6.5 and is now at 6 despite Indy being POUNDED. I like Jax here...

Indy really starting to come into thier own. Manning getting better every week. Think primetime game will help them here as they will step up and make a statement. Still undecided going to wait for game day to make decision. See where the line goes.

I don't see Indy being as good as the last 2 years. They beat Jacksonville last 2 years convincingly, but from 2002 - 2005
it has been close on their field 8 points or less, many 7 or less.

Indy has not been a good road team here either. I personally like Jacksonville +7

Yeah, but if everything worked out as the stats indicate on paper then we would all be millionaires right? That's why I laugh at people who do 2 pages worth of analyzing. Indy is capable of covering. That's all I'm worried about. We've seen the Jets hand the Titans their first loss and then get their asses handed to them by weaker teams, or barely beating Buffalo at home on a fluke play. It's not always clear cut. I believe Indy can cover this even if they haven't been covering much. At least I'm not betting on a bad team to cover as an underdog. Like I said in that week I went for the Steelers to cover big points against..I think it was Cinci on Thursday night, ''I'd rather go for a good team to cover a large number than hope a crappy team comes through for me and covers as underdogs''

Anyways, as I said, I have to stick with my pick. I thank you again for trying to help. You haven't said anything that isn't true or accurate so it's all good. Now if you don't mind I have to put a nickel on thr Pistons tonight before it's too late.

see ya guys.

This is a big game for Indianapolis. Part of it is because it is vs a divisional rival, part of it is because it is vs a team that beat them earlier in the season, but mainly because what the Colts put on the field tomorrow is what the Colts will be bringing with them to the playoffs.

Joseph Adai is playing. Bob Sanders is playing. Jeff Saturday is playing. They rested their Defense on Sunday, they will all be back on the field.

The team that plays tomorrow is all they got. There is no more playing without this, or playing without that, no more Peyton needs time to get his timing back, Marvin is old, etc.

This is it. Go time. Now add in that it is a team they owe some payback to, add in the fact they are playing a divisional team, add in the fact the Jags are banged up, add in that the Jags top receiver is suspended, add in that their coach is going to get fired, add that the Jags have nothing to play for....

Colts win big. 31-10, it's showtime.

Exactly. You don't think the Jaguars want to beat the hell out of this team Thursday night? Jags aren't going to the playoffs-- this IS their playoff game. Upset the colts.

Remember, Jags don't have to win, they just have to cover. I'll take a 6+ div. rival at home all day. Especially when the Jags have a history of playing this team well.

BOL to you

Tusks -- dismissive handicapping is a dangerous game to play! Dismissing an opponent completely because the team you like gets a few banged up players back? Dismissing a divisional rival completely because the team you like needs a win for their playoff run? Saying that the Jags have nothing to play for in this game is completely dismissing the fact that these are professional athletes who got to where they are today, playing in the NFL, by showing up to play each and every day of their lives. Professing to know the psyche of the teams involved here is handicapping hubris.
