and in my age group around 30 its gonna be astronomical once we get old

due to all the processed foods, environmental hazards, and other stuff we are exposed to on the day to day basis

its not a coincidence that cancer rates have gone up with the increase in industrialization just comes with the territory

cancer a combo of bad genes and environmental impacts and its not fair

one of my buddies mom's got lung cancer non smoker in her 50s and died....while my great grandpa lived till he was 80+ smoking stogies till he fell in the grave

just never know and just part of the chaotic nature of life

oh yeah we putting up a good fight vs. the natural aging process that's for sure

but at the same time many people living to an old age aren't themselves anymore and lead a pretty miserable/painful life near the end

i'd rather go at 50 in my sleep

than have to fight cancer for 20 years of my life and live to 70

death is such a weird thing to me not sure why people fear it so much....once you done for you won't know it

unless there's some magical afterlife i suppose and i guess since i didn't choose a specific god i have a better shot of ending up in some sort of hell

we've gotten a shitton better on the cancer front for sure

getting much better at targeting/detecting vs. all out chemo which weakens you beyond belief cause it kills tons of healthy cells

we'll see if they make big advances in gene therapy before i get to the cancer age.....
