Red Lobster to stop importing Canadian seafood
Red Lobster is America's No. 1 seafood chain with more than 600 restaurants in the United States. Darden Restaurants, the multi-billion-dollar company that owns Red Lobster, buys millions of dollars' worth of seafood each year from Canadian fishermen, including the same people who club baby seals to death.

These fishermen make the vast majority of their income from fishing, not sealing. That's why we have called for a boycott of Canadian seafood. And that's why we are targeting Red Lobster now: The chain has tremendous power to directly pressure the very people who kill the seals. Please take action today and urge Red Lobster to stop importing seafood from Canada.

The seal hunt is over. It was the third of three years for the hunt. Boycotts will do absolutely no good at this point.

Besides, Red Lobster sucks. That's why they're closing down at an alarming rate. Let them have their PR opportunity and we'll all just ignore that their cause, while noble in some regards, is dead in the water. Too little too late, RL.

Outside of BeantownJim, Legal's is the only thing in Boston that I will admit to NOT sucking goat testes (no offense red staters).
