S&P futures were up 2.70 to 1,195.60 while Nasdaq futures climbed 5 to 1,514 and Dow futures lifted 18 to 10,691.

"The big question will be whether this is just a bounce following yesterday's broad-based decline or whether yesterday was really just a one day affair," said Michael Sheldon, chief market strategist at Spencer Clark LLC.

I'm not a stock guru, but Las Vegas stocks have been kicking ass.

I bought STN about 6 weeks ago its up 25%

bought BYD about 2 weeks ago its up 15%.

Casinos are almost all reporting record earnings for the past 6 months.

HET is another to consider strongly. BYD blew away analysts expectations and is up almost $4 a share today.

in case you missed it since your not a vegas local anymore, BYD is merging with coast casinos. some nice properties there. And they are building a new one, south coast which is going to do well.

Vegas locals market is booming. I guess they all have money to blow cause their houses double each six months!
