Good start to the season in Week 1.

Wk 1 /// 8-4 +388

I'll lock in lines as I see them to my liking as the week progresses. Writeups will follow on gameday.

Thurs night:

Philly -6 -101 (vs Minny)

Last season under Hurts when the line was not double digits Philly was 6-0 SU and 6-0 ATS at home.

Minny ha a putrid running attack last week at home vs TBy. This week their starting center is out and vet tackle Christian Darrisaw has an ankle injury. That ain't good for a QB who is known to put the ball up for grabs (3 picks in a 24-7 Week 2 loss to Philly last season) against the NFL's meanest pass rush (70 sacks last season).

Jalen Hurts isn't in Foxboro playing against the stout Billy Belichick Defense this week. He should score at will against a very average Minny D.

Eagles soar.

Sunday:

Det -6 +111 (vs Sea)
Locked this number in (above) earlier in the week. THe line moved against me. Oh well. Seattle lost their two starting tackles in Week 1. How is that gonna help them keep up with this mad Detroit scoring machine who is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games including 3-0 SU ans ATS as Home Favs.

Indy +1 -101 (@ Hou)
Houston stud tackle Laremy Tunsil has been ruled out for this game. That ain't gonna help a Texan offense that could only muster 3 fgs last week while Stroud threw three picks.

Balty +3 +106 (@ Cincy)
Cincy won the last two games pretty easily against these Ravens at the end of last season (one Wild Card) but Lamar Jackson didn't play in either of them and the Joe Burrow machine was clicking on all cylinders. But go back to Week 5 in Baltimore when Lamar did play and Balty won 19-17. Think this will be that kind pf game. I'll take the three while Cincy trys to find their offense.

TBy -2' -106 (vs Chi)
Nothing about the Bears last week showed me that they had progressed an inch from a 2022 season that saw them lose their last ten games outright. Baker Myfield gets a bad rap but he was a stud for the Rams when they brought him on at the end of last season for an injured Matthew Stafford. And he didnt have Cooper Kupp to work with either.

KCy -3 -108 (@ Jax)
Trevor Lawrence is the new shiny thing. But I'll take Patrick Holmes quarterbacking, Andy Reed coaching, now that their two best supporting cast are returning - Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones. Find some sticky stuff for Andrew Toney's hands and the Chiefs will look like last year's SB team.

Tenny +2' +103 (vs LA Ch)
The Chargers remain soft and overrated. Mike Vrabel is gonna make them soft, overrated, and black and blue.

Buff -7' +103 (vs LV R)
Josh Allen will get his head off the swivel it was on last week. Three interceptions and a key late game fumble? Not today.

Late games later

hah yiasou. I just had them on Friday from the Greek Festival in Brockton, MA - St Annunciation Church. I can't imagine a better Greek Festival. Their grape leaves come in a yellow (lemon) sauce. They are the best I've ever had. Also got a baked lamb dinner. And a half chicken dinner, Moussaka for my brother in law and three different pastries for my sister. Greek salads with feta and olives. I love all that stuff. I'm on your Birds. Hope yu like them today.

M. Angelo....BOL with your action today buddy......indy
Mr bruce, you had a nice Baseball season going and stopped posting. Everything all right? Hope so.

Good luck....
Bozz, where are your picks. You were one of the few on the board to have a winning season last year. Let's go!

You and me both. We have a pretty good festival here, too.....St. Nicholas.....but it's in June. Personally I prefer the pasticcio over the moussaka. I'm getting hungry just thinking about this stuff. Tough game for ravens today. The turkeys just gave up the punt return as I'm typing....after Lamar got lucky on the fumble. Lots of mistakes by the ravens so far this year, uncharacteristic. Let's get em today.

C'mon Boz. Import your record here after today and let's get going.

The drama? I'm doing my best to just dodge it. We're here for sports gambling. I respect the honest sports gamblers. And I'll root for them every time. I don't care about their philosophies on life.

Heating up the lamb dinner right now. Just half of it with a big Greek salad. Can't wait.

Your Ravens are up by 10 with the ball and 9 minutes to go.

Late Sunday: (skinny writeups)

Azo +4' -101 (vs NYG)
Sorry G backers. They are not worthy road favorites.

SFo -7' +110 (@ LAR)
SFo are worthy division road favorites. Looking like the best team in foots. Expecting them to play that way.

Dal -8 -110 (vs NYJ)
Zack Wilson going into the lions den?

Wash +3' -105 (@ Den)
Sean Peyton this. Sean Peyton that. All his great coaching was with a game Drew Brees. Now he's gotta make steak au poivre with hamburger Russell Wilson. Good luck with that.

Got them good today. These days don't come around often. Friggin' Rams had to kick a meaningless FG as time expired to make me lose the Frisco bet by a half point. Detroit let me down in overtime. Otherwise everything fell my way. Lucky day for sure.

Gonna sit back and watch my Pats tonight without a bet. They will have three of their O line starters back while two guys who played last week are inactive with injuries this week. They should run the ball much better this week. Mac Jones is liking his new offensive coordinator. Jak Jones who has been very successful when covering Tyreek Hill in the past hurt his ankle midweek and is inactive. But I think Belli adjusts. Miami lost their starting left tackle, Terron Armstead so that won't help them against a pretty solid Patriot D.

Gonna sit back and root for the Pats. Good luck.
