I don't think anyone will cry if A-Rod never wins one. Mr. Quarter Billion will just have to cry in his mansions...

Giambi and ARod can retire without one. But the moose is a quality guy, a great pitcher for the Yankees and The Orioles, with whom I saw the best losing pitcher performance ever. He did not get tagged with the loss, I think he threw a 1 hitter over 9 innings and the Orioles lost to Cleveland. I gave my friend two autographed balls. Mike Mussina, nice sig and Nolan Ryan. When both were pitching. He still is a great pitcher, with countless pitches. Bad luck follows him. :neenee:

thats too bad. I feel.

where is Yaz's ring? Ted Williams?

When Mussina was a free agent 5 or so years ago, the Red Sox desperately wanted to sign him. He took the yankees money instead cause he thought he could win a ring there, so I have no sympathy now.

When the Red Sox lost Mussina to New York, they used their available money to sign another free agent, MANNY RAMIREZ. In retrospect, who would you rather have?

I grew up in Massachusetts so tonight feels really good. I'm not about to gloat because the Yankees have clearly gotten the best of it over the years but I will say this. When the Red Sox were celebrating out on the field, the cameras showed Alex Rodriguez in the Yankee dugout glaring out at them. That was a nice sight to see that primmadonna p***k with that usual sourpuss look on his face.

Alex Rodriguez is a perfect example of what is wrong with athletes today. He's a dour, greedy, me-first, spoiled ballplayer.

Only 5 more years left on the contract now for the $29 Million man that you have to pinch hit for in the 9th !

Might as well leave him off the rooster next round !

Mussina should have got one in 2001. He pitched a hell of a game in the A's series they came back from 0-2 in. The Arizona series still hurts, Yanks had that one in the bag, still cant believe that little bloop hit off Mariano fell in over Jeter's head on the drawn in infield.

Im the biggest Yanks fan you'll find, but I can't stand Arod. Never liked him, never will. He's a primadonna that doesn't step up in the clutch. No mental toughness at all.
