I have had my TV on sportscenter like I usually do and could not help but hearing the announcer say how Steve Nash only scored 2 points in the second half and it was a "meaningless" 2 pointer at the end of the game. If he only knew that it was probably the most meaningful 2 pointer Nash ever made in the betting world. I can't imagine how many dollars were exchanged worldwide on that last "meaningless" 2 pointer.

if the wagerline consensus gives an accurate snapshot of bettor sentiment, then the books got HAMMERED last night on that meaningless basket.

Then they made it all back on the Yankee game.

There's a big difference between the wagerline consensus and what people actually bet on a game where the favorite is -420. Most people aren't laying that kind of price with their money.

Isn't that something? But you can't say Nash knew the line with fouls he was making!

Maybe he was trying for the over!

Ditto Benny, I've been burned all year on back door covers, now I finally cash on one.
