The top picked team in the contest is 7-1 on the season. Not an automatic fade folks.

I am sure most of the world was on Arizona last week -- didn't help my Browns bet ...

how did you know ahead of time?

Easy to tell where the consensus will be with off lines in the public's eyes and he probably just stays away from either side of those type. I doubt he knew it would be the highest ever, but knew with confidence it would be lopsided.

I'm totally down with body clock theory that west coast teams play traditionally worse @ 1pm on the East coast. I really think home field is worth more than 3 when it comes to the Steelers stadium. Oakland has a good young team and I'm not trying to fade them. This also gives Big Ben another week to get healthy, which I like. It's anybody's guess as to how healthy he will be a but a week is a lot of time in the NFL. Also, I think the back-up RB for PITT is pretty solid from what I've seen. I don't really follow the Steelers that closely but I like the spot situationally. They just played the Bengals really tough and I think Bengals > Raiders. I'm a big fan of the PITT defense this year as well - they are playing great.

Not saying Steelers are the best play in the world, just that I like it. Not discounting the Raiders either, they have really shown me something this year so far. Today will be a big test for them. Both plays make sense. BOL to both sides!

Pitt opened up at -6 in Vegas last Sunday......someone bet it down to -4......then yesterday supposedly BW came over the top & bet Pitt & now its at -6.5.......

I can't confirm that BW played it myself directly, but that'd what I heard......he also played Titans at +8.....now they're at +6.5 everywhere.
