Steelers homers...do the Steelers "defer" even when they win the toss?

Just wondering. Was looking at some prop best such as:
first team to punt
first team to get a first down (AZ is -150 which leads me to believe that even if Pitt wins the coin toss they will defer)

That wouldn't make any sense. Its normal rules.

actually, it is a new rule. found this on the interweb:

The team to win the toss has always chosen to receive, and if for some reason your sportsbook offers a prop related to this, it seems like a good bet that the team to win the coss will continue this trend. As a few commenters have pointed out, we completely overlooked the new rule which allows teams to defer on the opening toss, so it will be interesting to see if the Super Bowl gets its first defer call in history.

From my view I think the Steelers would rather throw their strength out there in their Defense.

Would be demoralizing to the Cardinals if they went 3 and out on their opening drive.

Likewise the Cardinals should want to throw their high-powered offense out there first if they won the toss. Driving right down the field on the #1 defense in the NFL for a score would also be demoralizing.

Just my opinion.
