How many stat men/women do you have so far. Seems like you're gonna need lots of peeps.

I guess at least 30. That’s how many teams there are or are there 32 now? Somewhere around there.

The BaseballSavant website has complete breakdowns (in Statistics>Pitching Arsenal) of batters & pitchers by pitch type going back to the year 2015 and updated daily

It is quantified and collated by a team of approx 150 people at an annual payroll cost of about $3m

Perhaps not quite as accurate as "a couple dozen guys watching the games on TV while drinking a few beers" but hey at least their web URL is already secure

Still baffled as to how this info helps "the $25-50 bettor" much less anyone else unless they are able to see the future

Scene

Sox w bases loaded, 2 out, a 2-2 count and Martinez at bat in seventh inning w Sox down by one

Me: (with about a 25 second window) Checks the Fanbouts spreadsheet; wow Martinez crushes sliders vs RHP w 2 outs and a 2-2 count....I'm going to be RICH.....opens up live betting window.....lays $1000 on RedSox.....

a) If handled in 24 seconds.......Pitcher throws a changeup down & in, Martinez whiffs

OR

b) It's now two batters into the eighth inning

Man, you know everyone’s payroll needs. You must be in the know.

if you don’t see how having a breakdown on what pitchers throw and a breakdown of how batters hit against those pitches then I don’t know what to say to you.

Barman, you keep saying the stats are out there so please by all means pick a game and give me the breakdown on both starters in terms of what they throw and how often and give me the batting average of the teams against those pitches. There's a reason why we never see that info here. That's because it doesn't exits in the public domain.

Sounds like you're targeting live betting.

This sounds great in theory, I just don't know how practical it would be to put in use.

Ask a horse player how good their decision making is when its 1 MTP and they still haven't figured out what bets to make.

Trying to make sensible live wagers in an extremely small amount of time would be difficult for most people.

Asked & Answered...Baseball Savant site has all of that and it is available to the public

If you're too lazy or inept to decipher their data I am no help either

So I guess you're inept then. Cause if you cant go there and pull some stats off then it doesn't say much about you or them. Cause the last two sites that you swore had it, didn't have it.
