Who you got boys and why? Fast paced game? Will teams be timid at first and wait for the other to make a mistake? Thoughts please.

BTW sykies likely out

It appears the Pittsburgh Penguins will play Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final without forward Petr Sykora.

Sykora was seen gingerly leaving Mellon Arena on Wednesday on crutches, sporting a brace on his right foot and ankle.

Sykora confirmed to TSN the injury occurred in the second period of Game 6 after he blocked a shot.

When asked if there is any chance he'll be available for Game 7, Sykora chuckled and said, "I don't think so."

I lost my first bet of the finals by going for the Wings on the road in game 6. I'm all over Wings in game 7. I had them for the series for awhile now.

any opinions on why.....Im not looking at the gambling aspect as I have a very nice future rolling for the cup winner, this was more geared towards opinions based on strategy.

If trends continue, Detroit should prevail. In the past, the home team has won 6 consecutive game sevens in finals. Also, this series has home team winning every game.

There was a spacing problem with Post #2 which I repaired.

Oh, I will be on hand Friday evening to ride herd on any undue bullshit posting....Hopefully those of us with a sincere interest in the game will be able to hang with no concern for sillyness.

Obarma, are you suggesting Bushay will not be able to control himself? If so, I take offense. He's been nothing short of a gentleman to this point and I think you are being rude. Hang in there Bushay, I got your back!!

-Detroit has not lost in this series at home

-The 1971 Chicago Blackhawks were the last team to lose game 7 of the SCF on home ice, AND they were also the last and one of the only teams to ever get a 2-0 lead in a SCF and lose it. <!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_1767708-->

-The Pens have also won every series in these playoffs on the road. Game 6 @ Philadelphia, Game 7 @ Washington, and Game 4 @ Carolina.

-The Pens won both of their prior Cups on the road

All these statement are true but in reality they have nothing to do with the way this game 7 is going to go down and thats the beauty of it. I cant wait I know the wings fans can't wait and if you are truely a fan of the sport im sure this is going to be an exciting game to watch
