I know he called a stupid timeout at the end of the first half. Stanford was 2nd and goal from the two, had two timeouts and about 45 seconds left and he called a timeout stopping the clock. He had plenty of time to score, and if he wanted to call timeout do so with no more than 15 seconds left
The only thing he did was make sure USC had more time on the clock and two timeouts to try and score, but lucky for him they didn't try to score
