Hung out on Saturday with a guy that says you and him use to work together in Vegas back in the day. Guys name is Randy from North Dakota. Actually 3rd time or so I have been at the same function as him since I moved out here.

On a related note, the Univ. of Iowa had to put in another order on top of their 11,000 allottment for their game in Tampa. Keep in mind, these are just for worthless endzone tickets. Many Hawkeye fans, such as myself, have ordered better tickets through Ebay and the like.
At this time, I would expect a minimum 27,500 Iowa fans attending this game. A far cry from the 55,000+ at the Orange Bowl a few years ago, but still a solid showing and one the Outback can be thankful for, as well as the city of Tampa.

He told me a little about the slots and you guys back in the day. We have had some good conversations the few times I have been around him. May hang out with him again this weekend.

Right. Exactly. Funny you say that as I get the EXACT same feeling with him also. That is why I wouldn't mind partnering up with him on any venture if one pops up in the future.
Some of the guys I have met out here that do this for a living arent the most friendly people. That is not Randy at all, he is a super nice guy from what I can tell.
Considering a drive over there--the Memphis kicker is a Newsome High graduate from right here in the greater Lithia/Fish Hawk area. I coach his younger brother in high school lacrosse. Really nice family--I ran into his mom at the grocery store last night and she was so excited.
The problem is that I HATE driving all the way over to the Trop.
