anyone out there think this is worth a shot? Blues +260 or so at Detroit...Red Wings have lost 5 in a row...and the Blues just beat the Blackhawks and Flyers last week...and the Bruins! 3 of the better teams in the NHL ...or do the Red Wings just win easy like 5-1 :lol:.....thoughts people ? :toast:
If Wings don't pull this one out I won't be surprised... Not laying any cash on it, but Osgood is f**king terrible... I mean you go out, build a team from hell...and somehow you don't pick up a goaltender... ohwell I mean they've been doing it for years... they won a cup with Mike Vernon and Chris Osgood as their starters FFS... obviously goaltending is over-rated in the motor city.. but tonight don't be surprised if Legacy has a chip on his shoulder and sticks it to his old team.... that combined with the Blues being about as hot as they'll ever get with this lineup.

Felt the same way about that last season when he missed a lot of the year with a nagging groin until Franzen stepped in his role and damn near performed the same type of play tht Homer did while he was out. Both of them stand it front of that net redirecting shots on the PP and bothering goaltender like no one else. Homer's the best no doubt. But Franzen can do almost all of what Homer can do as well as back check with the best of them AND score timely goal and in bunches. Franzen's a monster when he get focused and determined.
