Power Ratings POD: 5-2 (+3.94 units)
finished off the first week of this by meeting my objective goal of a 5-2 mark, the 2 losses were the NYR(-1.25) and LAK(-1.55), so the average juice loss was (-1.40) and under my goal of (-1.60).. the kings loss was tough one to take and i didnt even mention it yesterday --- but i havent forgotten it.. moving on to tuesday..
8. Nashville (-2.03) 2.03 units to win 1 unit.
2 days ago i went to a full kelly system and am risking 5% of bankroll for hockey on each play.. makes no difference the amount of money that im playing as that is irrelevant for this, lets just say that i need to win... but of course we all need to win.. tonights play comes down to my ratings only, my #2 nashville predators (with the awesome VOUKAN in goal) take on my #22 chicago blackhawks squad.. this is the third time that ive rode nashville and may be pressing my luck, however we will go with them one more time. I like the fact that nashville is at home and will fight hard to keep the unbeaten mark in tact... I liked a few other teams today, fla was my 2nd choice but the fact that they are on the road and that pitt will eventually win someday, kept me off them.. i liked vancouver as well as i have them highly rated also,, but like the panthers they are on the road and playing a good team in minn... also like mont as a home dog, in my ratings they are higher than philly... not much else to say about the other matchups, guess i want to get my money down on a good hand (so to speak), so ill be on the pred's tonight...
