why not just bet a million?

im wrapped up in the MLB regular season and the nba playoffs, a 20k bankroll can only go so far..

im only going to say these things once.

It has everything to do with technique and zero to do with handicapping. its more important, how you bet, than who you bet... this is a vague statement, that i will explain at the end of the playoffs.. and this statement is true in baseball, where i fully intend to make $15,000+ in profits this season.

Playtime is over for me, from now on..

SSI, people are clueless,it has nothing to do with whos going to win or lose its how you bet the game.

Didn't realize I would ruffle some feathers with such a quiet and straight forward question. In any case, bol with the system in both sports, although I think you'll find that hockey is quite different from baseball, meaning that when it comes to pucklines, it's a far different situation than wagering on runlines in baseball.

"SSI, people are clueless"

Mr. Patriot, not quite sure what you meant by the comment above or, to put it simply, if you were directing it at anyone in particular.

Randolph, I thought your question was fair. Certainly didn't deserve the response it got. Good to see his playtime is over, whatever the hell that means and also that he is not going to repeat himself of whatever the hell he said since he is only going to say it once. Guess we are all better off now.

POet and Randolph:

I suspect you mean no ill will but the question was NOT fair.

Anyone with a clue about risk-reward knows that over-betting
your bankroll leads to certain ruin at some point in the future.

Good luck if you choose to follow SSI. (...and good luck if you don't!)

Well I guess I don't have a clue then or I obviously wouldn't have asked the question which WAS fair IMO. Then again if I was a MathProf, I suppose I would have a clue!

ok guys, my bankroll didnt allow for me to double or triple my bets.. there is your answer, sorry for being sarcastic..

ive been around this game a long time, definately realize hockey pucklines arent like baseball runlines.. but please notice, i didnt play a puckline tonight, only moneylines..

i have a system to bet these nhl playoff games with... i am going to try and make ($2000+) off the playoffs, i think that i will be successful..

time will tell..

this system is a version of how im betting baseball.. i have come to realize there is a strong techmique to betting, that will be highly profitable over the long haul.. ill list the plays but wont give away the farm.. call me an ass for that............thats ok..

best of luck..

Clueless was a poor term sorry about that...don't take it personally.
My point was that anything you handicap is already factored in anyway.
I'm of the opinion people process and handicap the wrong information.
To me its all about ROI and those conditions which are conducive for value per buck invested.
Believe me I'm no pro, and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last nite.
Its not a perfect science. GL with your selections.

Pat, you hit the nail on the head... for the most part, handicapping is useless.. i said, for the most part... the books have done the handicapping for you.. save yourself the time of going over old information that everyone has...

Pat, email me after the playoffs, if this is successful (ill be using it in the nba as well).. and ill explain it to you.. you were nice enough to offer me some info once, ill return the favor..... but only if im successful..... would be useless if im not..

Fair may not have been the correct word but Randolph's post was mainly an innocent query where he probably didn't realize SSI's bankroll was heavily geared to NBA and baseball.

SSI, your mulligan was right down the middle. GL with your plays in all sports. I like the heavy dog pix as this NHL playoffs will be like no other.

couldn't agree with you more.
I've said this a million times.
Vegas makes the lines as perfect as can be to make the game even.
We need a way of betting in order to beat the books.

Good luck in the playoffs SSI...

Interested to see your system. By the looks of it similar to something I have done in the past in NHL playoffs...

Play dogs progressively game by game till they win to lock in profit...
