SSI's NBA Plays for March

A new month starting today, last few days have not been bad (posted here),,, 3-2 (+$690) and got robbed on the Knicks last night.. Jazzing it up a little today, all this talk lately on totals, thought id get out my old notes and try my hand at it today.. All lines and wagers are from and placed at pinnacle sports.
These are simply mathematical numbers that ive thrown together with a little bit of money management and personal thoughts thrown in.. Lets see how it goes today...

1. Mem/GST over 188.5 (+1.02). Laying $100 to win $102.
2. Sac/Char under 202 (+1.01). Laying $100 to win $101.
3. Sea/Ind over 186.5 (-1.02). Laying $102 to win $100.
4. Phil/Mil under 204 (-1.07). Laying $107 to win $100.
5. Hou/Chi under 188.5 (-1.06). Laying $106 to win $100.
6. Atl/Den under 194 (+1.01). Laying $100 to win $101.
7. Det/Port over 176 (-1.03). Laying $103 to win $100..

Not risking alot, as i try and see how these numbers hold up.. Took me about an hour to sort through things and turn the plays in, im done for the day, so good luck to all...

doesnt get much better than being 1-0 in a new month with a new system, then you get to be inundated with bad beats, close calls and near misses, otherwise the normalcy of the nba... guess i can relish in the 1-0 for a couple of hours before tonights tipoffs... my best to all...

nice to get started on a positive note in a new month with a new system... 3 part system, consisting of number crunching/personal opinion/money management to hopefully create a number that will beat the books.. all plays listed are for $100 and are played at pinnacle sports.

there you have it, all the plays.. this will give me 17 plays, all for only $100. anxious to see how it goes tonight, simple system in which i think that my number is better than theirs.. time will tell...

steam from what ive posted in 2005, its going to be in 3 segments...

1st segment went in either 1-2-4 unit plays, 1 and 2 unit were each 1 game below .500 if i recall correctly.. 4 unit plays were at .500.. i did this in early to mid january.
1 unit: 10-11 (-2.1 units)
2 unit: 7-8 (-3.60 units)
4 unit: 2-2 (-0.80 units)
as you can see there was really nothing there, down a little but nothing major, im a small player (95% of my plays are from $100 to $500)..

then i posted last week starting on thursday and went 3-2 for a profit of $690. i played a little bigger and won a little nothing major..

then i started again yesterday on mar 1st and went 5-2 (+291)...

so i think that my posted record is somewhere close to 28 wins and 25 losses for a profit of $431...

ive been playing almost daily steam since 1986.. started offshore in 1996 or so. i still play both offshore and locally... i joined this forum a few years ago and have a pretty good name here... i used to post daily and ive made several attempts at doing that again recently but at times its a hassle to run in here and posts all my plays (dont see how you do it)... ive won a few contests here and finished 2nd in a couple, still miss my old friend scoobysnacks (who remembers him?) he was a good capper and contest player.... I also became close internet friends with OldMan Ted and have much respect for this man.. he actually has taught me alot about internet wagering, the moving of money part... Im still from the old school... well sort of old school..... sorry for rambling, my best to you and everyone else.. Lets just see how things play out..

5-5 last night (-$21), in some ways lucky and in other ways stupid.. Lucky because i won some that i could have lost, stupid because i should have been on the other side in 2 games.. Nothing i want to discuss here but i made a mistake in my figures in 2 of the games.. simply an oversight on my part and i must forget it and move on...

YTD (2005 calendar year) posted record: 33-30 (+$411) with wagers ranging from $100 to $500.

System Plays for March: 10-7 (+$270) all plays for $100 at pinnacle.

on to tonights short card. all plays are system plays for $100 with lines from pinnacle sports..

really encouraged over the first 3 days with this new totals sytem... need the under for the sweep, in the det/phx game, tomorrow is going to be a huge day for me with the amount of games on the board..

tonight is a huge night for my system, simple system pitting my number vs. there number and im banking i can be right 56% of the time, if so, well you get my drift.. not tooting any horns here, way too early for that.. lets just see how things play out, all plays were played at pinnacle sports for $100... my best to all...

Your system usually goes under on the higher numbers
and over on the lower numbers. Just an observation.

it seems to work that way but not always and the mid 190's could go either way. in developing this system, i wanted to come to what i called a TRUE number, i feel the book places a perceived number on a game and i want to develop a better number.. also i dont care about winning all the games only a 55-56% mark, then you can write your own check...

way too early for me to be discussing anything --in the way of what im doing.. im interested in seeing what this looks like in a month, when i have 225 bets behind me... tonight will be very interesting with 12 games on the board...

friday is shaping up to what could be another good day... 6-3 (+$311) with 3 games still pending (listed above)... will be running a tad later tomorrow, for anyone following along... will have all the games up before the first tip off...

lots of unders tonight but thats just how the numbers came out today.. simple system in which i am attempting to set a better total than the books perceived total.. hitting 65% through the first 32 plays, i have no thoughts that it will come close to maintaining these lofty numbers, i am hoping for a 56% mark over a large number of games... i am however going to enjoy the profits for the time being.. wont be around alot today, so my best to everyone.

well, couldnt have asked for a better start to a system.. 3-0 on the night now, with 3 more pending.. system record is now 24-11, with 3 more games pending tonight... still a little too early to comment much but i can tell you that im extremely encouraged right now.. already looking to implement this same system for mlb totals beginning in may... hope everyone else is cashing these days..
