I will be trying to post daily and keeping records in the format above. Ive gotten really sidetracked the last couple weeks and am going to go back to the basics of what was working. All plays will be for 1 unit, as im a flat bettor and prefer the slow methodical grind, with the desire of trying to go 70-50 over the 120 plays. I play around 120 plays per month and will be selecting about 4 daily from all sports..

Todays Plays:

SWMS -1 ($220 to win $200)
GONZ/MTST. Marys over 148 ($220 to win $200)
Lakers -2.5 ($220 to win $200)
Ana/Mont over 4.5 ($220 to win $200)

I will be posting my selections in the forum that is the most active, since im using all sports.. Im doing this simply to try and get myself more focused and to get back to my basics of sports handicapping.. Not looking for any followers, haters or clients.. I wish everyone the best for the remainder of the year.

SSI - No chat for a while. I've been wagering much less since I hit such a cold streak, even had two horrible NBA nights in a row which took me from black to red. Anyway, continued success to you.

thanks B/G, wasnt really losses that got me sidetracked, although ive been slipping since football.. Football was very good, basketball started really good and is still profitable, ive not gotten on track in hockey all year.. It seemed that i was being pulled in alot of directions by different things. This is an attempt to get back to just being focused and grinding out profits..

Just thought I'd stop by and wish you the best on your plays tonight. Going to be using the next couple of days to study the power conferences and watch some of the mid-majors to get a better look at their athletes and style of play in order to better prepare me for the Big Dance. Be back in full swing on Wednesday when the big boys hit the court.

ted, trying to adapt a format similiar to yours, with no unit ratings however.. got sidetracked the last couple of weeks with some outside things and a few online things.. Just really ready to go back to grinding profits on a consistent basis.. Your thoughts on MTSU's chances tonight if you have the time.. Not for wagering purposes but they are located just 50 miles north of me and they knocked off WKY last night.. Like you im looking forward to the conference tourneys, especially the big ones.. Really feel Kentucky is coming into form now..

By no means are the mid-majors my strength which is why I use this period to watch those that will play in their conference semifinals and championships to try and earn a birth in the Big Dance. Thus, I neither have an opinion or a lean on MTSU. I'm certain that you have a better feel for them than I being as close to the school as you are. For what it's worth, I did take a quick look at the TV games tonight and have the following thoughts: VCU/GM U136.5, SMS/NI too tough to call, GZA/STM O148. I see you are on SMS and the Over on GZA/STM games so best of luck to you. I'll be watching to get a better read on these teams. When the power conferences hit the court, there should be some excellent plays present themselves. I grind during the regular season learning about these teams just for this time of year. It's big game time. As for Kentucky, agree that they are solid but the seeding will be really important as it is every year for each of the teams. If they can win the SEC Conference Championship they should be no worse then a 2 seed. If they lose, they may fall to a 3 seed.

savant, the baseball contest?? i cant really remember, its been so long ago. we posted plays that were capped by trk and seems like we had a contest going that i was leading but had to drop out due to family illness (my dad passed away). as for the nhl, im going to play a few and try to get ready for the playoffs, i can play the totals with a local (all at -1.10). i beleive i told you that before.. I just couldnt seem to get it going in the nhl, i had a great playoff run last year and finished 2nd in a contest that we had going, i rode Jersey to the bank last year..

Ted, your right its money time in the ncaab, also starting to get ready for a playoff run in the nba and nhl.. Not to mention MLB is on the horizon.. I think MTSU will have a tough time tonight, id love to see them win but doubt they do.. Im not on that game in any way, its just a local thing.. Ive always been a tarheel fan but i also pull for vandy.. Whats your take on the commodores by the way, i think if KY wins the sec tourney they are a #1 seed without a doubt..

Vanderbilt is sort of an enigma to me. Very inconsistent. They need the proper match-ups to win. Everything would have to fall into place just right for them to do much damage. Too many quality SEC teams. Tough solid conference. As for Kentucky, I'm not so sure that if Kentucky wins the conference tournament that they get a #1. Their name may get it for them, but currently they are ranked #8 in the polls. Don't know if they can move up enough to get a top seed. Time will tell. Love the way they play game in and game out though.
