Hey guys,

Anyone know when the first games should be available to wager on?

I think i see March 3rd there is a dodgers/Mets game.

Any opinions on ST baseball? I think you can steal some money with this stuff if you get decent info on who will pitch/play ahead of time..

I can't freakin wait for baseball. Those years when David Wells was with the Tigers were the best. Bet on him all week, bet against him during the weekkend you couldn't lose. Not too many favorites were higher than -220 back then. Have the oddsmakers made that big of an adjustments.

Spring training baseball can be tricky, going by past years, I recall you can only bet action. There are no listed pitchers in ST. Limits are low but you can bet in several spots if you want to play high. The real problem is starting line-ups, especially early when most teams play 50 or more different players, sometime using split squad games. I have heard of bettors going to Fla. or Arizona and watching games live, nothing wrong with this, you can be sure of who is playing, and enjoy a nice vacation while you gamble.

There is one trend i noticed with ST baseball a few eyars back and i try to apply it, seems that some teams are deidicated to winning and others could care less, about 1 1/2 weeks in if you look at the standings, the teams at the top by that point are going to stay up there, bet them HARD...

Will be attending numerous games here in the next few weeks.

Greatly looking forward to the sun, beer, women, and a little baseball.

Wish you all could be here.

I saw Dodgers/Mets on ESPN Wednesday at 1 ET. I hope this game is lined, at least we can watch it.

Fish and others, I can hardly wait.

We have two quality seats for the Tigers/Expos at Lakeland [my favorite venue] on March 11. Section 107. I'll wear either my Hollywood polo or my sportsbook.com white tee shirt. If anybody is there stop on by and say hello. I'm the old guy with long hair except for the massive sandtrap on the back of my head.

Will be going to other spring games for sure too.

But I have never attended a game at the Fruit Dome or any other dome. Instead I see 4 or 5 Florida State League games at ballparks I played in ages ago. Growing up in Chicago, I spent hundreds of afternoons at Wrigley and nights at Comiskey Park. Saw games in many of the old ballparks too like Forbes, Crosley, Fenway, the old Briggs, to name a few. Don't want to spoil the memories of baseball as it should be played.

Please forgive the ramblings of an old man boys. But they have taken my cigarettes and bourbon away. Can't play golf or senior hockey anymore cause of shoulders and hip. Sold my Thunderstock and racing suit after blowing the engine in practice without even starting a race last year. Can't bowl because of right shoulder. Hate fishing!! Can't eat what I want anymore. Now the nitro patches I need mean I have to put away the magical blue pills

.

Well most of those old spring training ballparks are still there

and that's good, but I was really depressed until Mrs. Jones suggested I generously fund my neteller account earlier this week. Man I tried to look as pitiful as I could.

Ok Jones, I may see you there on Thursday....Lakeland is my favorite venue too.

Although I am looking forward to seeing the new Phillies ballpark.

I get to about 10-15 games during the month.......and usually 3-4 times to Lakeland.

I like to park in the church parking lot around right next to RYANS and have lunch at RYANS before I walk to the park. Good stuff and the price is right for a guy on a strict budget like myself.
