Won last night with the Spurs. Now 7-1 in my L8. Three plays for tonight....
Minnesota/Memphis Over 195 2 Units
Two of the bottom 7 in the league in defensive FG%, as both teams allow the opposition to shoot around 47% from the field. Minny gives up around 103 ppg, Memphis gives up just under 100 ppg. Wolves have been better lately, winning 4 of their past 6 games, scoring at least 100 points in 5 of those 6 games. I expect this one to play out like the second half of the last meeting between these two, where there was 107 points scored. May not be that high scoring, but feel this one should get to 200.
New York/Oklahoma City Over 214.5 2 Units
Talking about bad defenses, these two teams rank 29th and 30th in terms of defensive FG%. Knicks can't defend anyone and often don't even try, allowing 48% from the field, while giving up a league worst 107 ppg. Thunder not that much better, allowing 103 ppg. The Thunder have been playing some high scoring games lately, as each of their past 3 games have seen both themselves as well as the opposition eclipse 100 points. The first meeting of the season between these two teams resulted in a 116-106 final. I see more of the same tonight.
New Orleans/Los Angeles Over 195.5 2 Units
The total stays low here due to the fact that these two have met twice this season with each game finishing under this current total. I have a feeling the game will be played at a little faster pace and played to a higher score in LA, where the last 4 meetings between these two have seen an average of 209 points per game. I like the fact that both teams are solid 3 PT and FT shooting teams. While I don't expect to see LA get to their season average of 109 points at home, I do think they can top 100. New Orleans should be good for the rest to push this one over.
Best of luck fellas!
