Finally in the black. Full schedule tonight in the NBA, I have a few plays....
Philadelphia 76ers +3 2 Units
Really feel that we are getting the better team here plus points. Hawks did nothing to improve this year. In fact, they may have regressed a little with the loss of Childress. Philly, on the other hand, improved drastically with the additon of Brand. I think Philly is the better defensive team and also has the better bench. Should be a tight one, but I think Philly wins outright.
Dallas/Minnesota Over 204 2 Units
As I have previously talked about, Dallas is now running a much more uptempo offense. Just read where one NBA scout said that the Mavs play the fastest pace in the Western Conference now that D'Antoni has left Phoenix. Dallas pushes it non stop and shoots quick in the clock. On defense, they are nothing special. Below average actually. I think the Wolves will be improved this season. They would have gone over 100 points last time out if not for shooting only 50% from the line. Really like the Wolves inside game with Jefferson and Love. They have some shooters also, with Miller, Carney, McCants, Brewer, and Foye. I think Minny gets over 100 here. Dallas should do the same.
Los Angeles/Utah Under 191 2 Units
Two teams who are not close to 100%. Clipps should be without Baron Davis. They had a bad offense with B Didddy, without him it will only get worse now. A good example is the second half of last night's game after Baron went out injured. Clipps scored only 39 2H points before OT. Jazz are also without their leader and point guard, as Deron Williams is still out injured. Other Jazz players are banged up as well. Korver and Harpring are both game time decisions, but less than 100%. I think this total is a little off here. I will take the under.
