let's not hang our heads low...we had a great year, great postseason, and I know we'll be back next season...a healthy wade and shaq might have produced a different outcome (not trying to take away anything from the champs)...we still got one of the best talents in the n.b.a, and he should be even better next year...it's been fun rooting for the Heaters, but alas they came up just short...:drink:

I think you should thank dooling for this loss. he was pathetic.

he took ball out of shaq and wades hands late in game.

not hanging anything.

injuries are part of the game but you really cant ignore the facts. a healthy heat team doesnt drop the final 2 like that. its a shame but thats sports. in order to go all the way you need some luck and you need health on top of everything else, thats why its so hard to win a title. wades got another year under his belt and he should see a lot more double teams and game plans for him next season

Dooling didnt bother me as much as damon jones...

everytime he drives the lane i just say oh shit, this guy thinks hes dwyane wade. its usually a bad result. he drove at the end there which is not his strength and thats not what you want your season to rely on..then he misses a crucial free throw, and to be honest...thats what "scrubs" do and champions dont....wade makes his free throws, even shaq made 3 out of 4....you cant miss that free throw....detroit made all the ones they had to

Just got back from the game and feel absolutely terrible. Just feel numb. I feel for all the die hard fans and also for everyone inside the Heat organization. I feel for Dwyane, Shaq, Pat Riley, Zo, Micky Arison. I feel for Stan Van Grumpy. I know how hard he works to have his team as prepared as possible. I feel terrible that the Heat had so many injuries down the stretch. I am absolutely not making any excuses, but just giving explanations. All 5 Heat starters were banged up. I still whole heartedly believe that if the Heat were 100% healthy that the Heat win this series. That is what makes this loss even worse for me to take. The fact that we werent playing on an even ground. We were so banged up. Just a very numb feeling right now for me. Just trying to keep the head up. Talk at you all tomorrow.

Congrats to my Pistons. The Heat are great team and may one day win a championship. They proved a worthy foe.

I will however reserve my judgement for the Pistons until the Finals. If they take care of business and play the Spurs well, then I can believe that they just didint play like champs in this Series

No doubt that it was a different game with Wayde out and the other banged up. But I just didnt see that lockdown game from the Pistons that I have in the past. The Heat looked like the better team for most of the series.

Only time will tell if the Pistons arent the same team or the Heat really had their number.

yeah baby!!!!!!!:dancefool just like i thought, detroit would step up when they had to... it was a great game though. what a valiant effort by wade.... i didn't think he would be that effective... but to get to the next level, you have to go through adversity like that... jordan went through it wit da bad boys.... but the heat will be back, i'm sure....now to the next series and i'm loving the under.... top two defensive teams, under allday..... i think it goes seven...but i think spurs would ve killed miami...detroit matches up with them alot better... they can put tayshaun on ginobili and wallace on duncan... should be interesting though.... shout out to box...:103631605

About the next series, I think that San Antonio wins it. Just a matter of how many games. 5-7. Dont overstate Prince going against Ginobili. Prince was supposed to be this great all world defensive stopper, but then could not even come close to defending Wade effectively. Ginobili's game is very similar to Wade's. I think Bowen makes life difficult for Rip. Wallace will not be able to handle Tim. San Antonio matches up well with Detroit's bigs, with Tim and Nazr. I think San Antonio has the better depth. Also homecourt. I think Detroit may win a couple games here, but at the end the Spurs will be the champs.

Remember last year?

Just somethimg to think about.....

This Spurs team lost to the Lakers last year in 6 games, which then lost to the Pistons (8-1 DOGS) in 5. I know the Pistons do not have the bench they had last year, but just something to think about if you are looking to take the Spurs to win the series.
Pistons are +235 to win series, might be worth a look.

Let me know what you think..........

spread, prince wasn't as agressive as he is capable.. when he is agressive offensively, it carries over to his great defense. thats when you see him running people down for a swat. i think he picks it up.. i love the spurs team and how they play as much as i love how the pistons play.. i've said all year long that i thought these were the best two teams in the league... should be interesting... i have no idea who wins this series... i think it goes 6 or 7. i'm all over the under though...i may just take the hm teams... rip is tough to guard cause of his conditioning and use of screens...the key of the series is whether they are able to keep parker out of the paint. thats what opens everything up... but parker will have a tough time guarding billips... he exploits smaller guards in the post... that will cause a switch or dbl tm, which will lead to offensive boards for detroit...but i really think its a great series cause to me they are carbon copies of each other....
