Sportz whiz Week 9...5-2 last weekend!

Last weekend was great going at 5-2. 14-8 ytd. Tuesday night football with Ohio and Temple. Temple plays tough at home. They allowed 12 points against UConn and 7 against Western Michigan. The problem is that Temple lacks offense. Ohio has many players that are injured. That won't make much of a difference against a poor Temple offense but a difference in Ohio's offense. Big game on national television. Players will be trying too hard so there will be many turnovers with not much offensive production. The smart play is under 43! This game will be sloppy and goes WAY under!

Yes! Another win with the under in the Ohio/Temple game. My predicted score of 13-10 wasn't too far off from the actual 14-10 score. That makes it 15-8 ytd. Early wager before the line gets unfavorable. Auburn vs West Virginia. I feel the wrong team is favored. Auburn has beaten good teams as well as came close to winning against the good teams they lost against. W. Virginia has shown me nothing. They are not the same good team like the past. They are like what Wisconsin is today. Two good programs in the past that has poor teams right now. Auburn wins this game outright with their strong defense.
Predicted score: Auburn 17 W. Virginia 13

I'm leaning towards the under for the game but that won't come until game day.

One more pick on the New Mexico/ Air force game. Take over 45. New Mexico has no defense, but their offense has been getting better. Their defense only played well against 2 teams who could even be outscored by a high school football team in Wyoming and SDSt. All of Air force's games totaled 45 or more points except when they played Wyoming, who could only manage to score 3 points. Air force will at least score 30 points at home in a New Mexico team that lacks defense. New Mexico should be able to score at least 20 points with their improved offense. This game should comfortably go over.

Rough day today with losses to both Auburn and the over with the Air Force/NM game. A disappointing 15-10 YTD now with the double whammy today. Let's get this back on track. Friday night football, and I WILL BE AT THE GAME! SJST is a very good defensive team. With Boise St. coming into town, I guarantee that this will be an exciting and close game. SJST has the best team they ever had to beat a Boise St. team who's not as good as the past teams. I would not be surprised to see an upset. Take SJST +7.5
My prediction: SJST 24 Boise St 20

I see a lot of good games for Saturday. Enough with the write ups this week and on to the picks and the money that comes along with them.
