I was wondering if anyone could help me out with my sportsnow pager. A couple of days ago I was using the pager and then it just shutdown. Now all it says on the screen is Pager off. None of the buttons work. Does anyone know what I can do, or has this happened to anyone. Thanks for the input.
Jmoney It happened to me about 3 years ago I got a pager from the guy on EBAY and after 6 months it stopped . I sent it back to him and he sent me another one and 6months later it stopped... its a fucken SCAM or at least the guy I bought it from was

SportsNOW is changing their pagers and frequency band starting in September 2004. The current sports pager (hacked version) you have now will NO longer work.
They are switching to the BRAVO 800 sports pager.
I currently subscribed to The Sports Page, sports pager service. Scoring updates are fantastic, but the line service (only 3 line services from Stardust, Mirage and one Caribbean book (which remains nameless) could be improved. I also don't like the fact they do NOT list the rotation numbers next to the teams, which makes it VERY hard to navigate through when I am on the road conducting business.

Ed- Nice post, but I have to tell everyone about my friends experience with you guys.....The Sports Page Spots Pager said:
He wanted a Sports Pager and I told him about you guys. He paid for a full year up front, but about 3 weeks after he got his pager from you it stopped working. He called you guys up and you sent him out another one and told him to send back the old one. No problem everything was fine. That is until he got a call from youguys and you claimed that you never recieved the original pager back. He had sent it back the FOLLOWING day after he had recieved his new one. I know this for a fact because he asked our secretary to send it out. We checked the tracking number and found out that it had been delivered just as scheduled. You guys took the position that it had never been recieved and after talking to very unproffesional people at your office you guys decided to just turn off the service all together and even had the ball to charge his credit card a second time. Of course he charged back. We use to get calls from some scumbags from your office all the time and just got a kick putting them on speaker phone and hearing them. I guess in the business you are in, you deal with a lot of degenerates but you had no reason to take the position that you took with him. The real sad thing is that you do have a good service, but you or your salesman are a bunch of pricks!!

But if he had a tracking # we would have checked that out too and if we didn't get the page we still would have shut him off. We don't have any charge backs for pagers. Who is your friend ? I would like to know what happen. The people i have working for me have been working for the company for over 10 years. Please let me know who and get me the tracking # on the pager. This thing happened just about a year ago. I have no reson to make up lies about your company. It s not my practice to talk bad about anyone, but to see you here trying to recruit business, brings back the memories about the way you treated me and my friend. You product is good, but I would never consider doing business with a company that employs the people that were harrassing us.
